We have a number of SMEG appliances and had a recurring issue with an oven which Woods persisted with until it was fixed. A recent problem with a SMEG rangehood was badly misdiagnosed as needing a new motor when the nut had come off the fan. This should have been fixed on the spot as part of the $99 service call rather than offering to put in a new motor. Once fixed, we contacted Woods and they agreed to refund the service fee - a generous and responsible result. Thank you Woods. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for their willingness to resolve problems even if there is a bump along the way.

It is the company with the worst product quality and service ever. I have spent in excess of $700 3 years back to buy an integrated top of the range convection microwave with a trim kit to go in my new house. Just at the three year mark the oven stopped working, so I approached the local Smeg dealer to see if I could buy a new one. To my disappointment the model was not in production anymore and the new ones are of different dimensions. So I was left with no option but to spend another $300 to get it repaired at Woodgroup in Virginia. It has now been over 3 weeks that I left the microwave for repair and I am still waiting to hear back. Shame on you Smeg.

I just want to commend a lady I have been dealing with at wood enterprises. Her name is Helen Bromley. I have had some issues with my smeg oven and cooktop lately and Helen has been one of the best after sales service agent I know and have experienced for quite some time.
I commend her on her service and commitment to her job. Helen is very efficient at her job and can outsource a local repair agent within a day.

Another service matter resolved quickly and efficiently. Element blew on Sunday night. Spoke with Kristie on Monday morning. Quoted, parts sourced and service call booked in on Tuesday. Josh arrived on time on Thursday (2 days before Xmas!). The only person who has serviced the oven over its 14 year life. Experience counts. Reliable and efficient ... again!

Very Responsive BUT Zero actions taken

We have a Smeg dishwasher faulty, and it has been more than 2months - we are still without a working machine!

You would think Smeg being a expensive brand would come with good customer service. Well think again! I have a faulty cheap item replaced via Appliance Online quicker than this Smeg!

I have contacted Wood Enterprises numerous times about a warranty claim on my brand new $7000 Smeg oven. Since providing my claim details I have had no response despite multiple follow ups. Hopeless service for such an expensive premium product. I currently have an unusable oven. Please respond to my emails or call me back.

Waiting nearly 3 weeks + for parts that we are told is not carried by agent on the Gold Coast. When notified employee from Woods curtly suggested the agent cannot carry all parts. Agent ordered parts from Woods / Smeg but the company could not supply total order. Machine is 9 months old and rarely used. Smart remarks from Woods to an 80 year old with no effort to solve the issue. Obviously staff at Woods do not understand consumer laws protection for consumers.
