Due to potential delays in my part being shipped I was told that it may take 5 days for the part to arrive and then same day repair. I waited 48hours, the part arrived Friday am, I took the deivce in at 10:15 am and it was completed by 11:30 am. All under warranty even though the Mac was purchased over 2 years ago. Another competitor tried to charge me $650...

It was not until four days later that they started on the repair, telling me the battery needed replacing which had already been confirmed by Apple. Including all other details including model and serial number of my laptop. The next day they ordered the replacement battery.
After not hearing from them for another 10 days, I emailed them to request a status update. I explained to them that without my laptop for that length of time I had been forced to withdraw from my masters degree. I heard nothing back.
I called them the following day to again enquire and magically my laptop was ready for pickup. Essentially whilst they did eventually replace the battery, their complete apathy and lack of communication will ensure I will never use their services again. A loss to them as I have another two laptops requiring service.
Use at your own risk and be prepared to micromanage their work or you may never see your computer again.
I have reported this business to Apple given they are a registered Apple service provider.
Customer service and competence are non existent and they do not respond to customer replies in their own email based job tracking system until you leave an angry voice message on their phone.
They also do not answer their phone - I held on for just under 30 minutes waiting to speak to someone but eventually had to hang up because it was obvious no one was going to answer - by the way, in order to hold on, you are required to push 1 every 15 seconds in order to remain on the line.
After notifying them in their own email job tracking system that I had reported them to Apple (who made an appointment for me at the Apple store at Chermside ) and that I was coming into the store to collect my airpod pros they were testing under the Apple replacement warranty scheme, I actually had to raise my voice to get them to return my AirPods to me. They refused to return them stating they had escalated the issue they had found during testing to Apple for a response and were awaiting a reply from Apple. I told them I was well aware of that as per their response to me in their tracking system but clearly they had not read my customer reply in their tracking system because I had advised them the previous day that I had lost confidence in their competence, had reported them to Apple who had arranged to have my airpod pro tested by Chermside Apple, and that I was coming in to collect my AirPods to take to Chermside. Having to shout at a service provider to return your own property to you - totally unbelievable and unacceptable. Chermside Apple service was absolutely wonderful - they tested and replaced both airpod pros.
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR APPLE PRODUCTS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
MOST OF THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKED! THE REAL STAR RATING IS PROBABLY UNDER 2 STARS !!
and there will probably be another fake 5 star review in a few days to balance out the star rating.
I Was told by apple support that this was the closest place that could repair my MacBook so I used this place and handed them my laptop on a Thursday and was told they would order some parts and my laptop would be ready sometime mid next week, which was a little annoying since I need my laptop quickly but I was fine with it. Next week comes and it’s Tuesday, I try to ring the store and I’m held in a fake queue because “they’re busy right now” and you have to press 1 every 30 seconds to stay in the fake queue but nobody ever picks up even after 15 minutes in queue I then called on Wednesday and also today (Thursday) and it’s the same thing. So I’m mad now and I rock up at the place and just ask for my laptop back and he gives it to me. Unrepaired. God only knows how long my laptop would have been stuck there.
Just save yourself the hassle and go to an apple store with people who actually pick up the phone and know what they’re doing and are trained correctly.
They didn't have the battery in stock...recommended a place to get one and then installed it within the same day!
I highly recommend the Mac & PC Doctors. Very professional. Cool staff.
Will definitely use their services again if I have any trouble with my Mac Laptop.
