Went in to have a roadworthy done recently on my bike. I knew the rear tyre was low on tread and they advised I needed a new tyre which I went ahead and had done. What really blew me away was they told me that I needed a new disk due to grooves in the front brake disk. A long story shortened. No I did not need a new disk to pass the roadworthy and the grooves were listed as normal wear and tare by another mechanic. Not happy at all.

I've never met such a jovial and happy man (Graeme) in my life, so when I read some of the bad reviews I just cannot believe them! No shop is perfect, and the way in which people deal with mechanics and the attitude they bring to the process can affect how things are done.

Having said all that, my 1989 GN250 was serviced and fixed from a myriad of problems turning it from unrideable junk (at best a piece of history) to a finely tuned classic again. Graeme even turned up to my house when I thought there was something wrong with the bike. Just goes to show there is still proper service around.

I have recommended everyone I know with motorcycles to go see MTM.

Just made a call to get the quote for service but got a very rude answer. If you not happy with business, stop doing it and if not, don’t be rude..

The worst motorcycle mechanic Ive ever encountered in Australia.

Took my ninja in for a roadworthy and it was decided it needed a cam tensioner and fork seals. After 5 weeks the work couldn't be completed because the mechanic couldn't remove the front wheel (was told his wheel hex tool kept braking) and also created a coolant leak on reassembly that he couldn't find the source of. (Later found he left hoses disconnected)

After questioning the work I was left a voicemail of screaming and abuse, followed by excuses.

Received the bike back after the bill ($771.25) and;
-with all fairings removed(and some parts broken or missing)
-the coolant leak unfixed
-cooling fan not working
-fork seals not installed
-additional bad oil leaks from poor reassembly

I also payed for the new fork seals(turned out were the wrong size) and payed for the roadworthy which couldn't be granted (was a mobile roadworthy service as I didn't know MTM aren't qualified to grant them) and faults weren't fixed in time.

Very disappointed overall and hope my review reaches anyone thinking about letting MTM get their hands on their pride and joy.

The owner and the staff is too greedy, they will manage to fool you somehow. I recommend not to go this place. Trust me they can't be trusted.. they are inhuman people.

Got him to “tune” the carburettor on my scooter. Got it back with not clamps on the fuel lines and not line filter (not running).
