I was blown away by the food at blue bear! Everything on the menu looked great, I chose the corn fritters which was a fantastic decision. There was a generous amount of food and it was seasoned and flavoured perfectly. Everyone else’s meals were also presented very well. The coffee was also excellent. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially for a cafe on James street. I would 100% recommend this cafe and will be coming back again!

Great little cafe, the food was really nice and so was the coffee, especially the cold brew. I don't normally go for a sweet breakfast but the French toast sounded too good not to try. The toffee on top was sooo yummy.

Quality coffee and rustic interior design are the eye-catching details that attracted me of this lovely place, just on the corner of a quiet street. Very accessible from the city, it’s a lovely spot to have a chill morning catch up with friends or just yourself.

I really did enjoy the attention to details in making the word “rustic” consistent in their choice of furniture and tableware. Pastel colours predominantly used on a background of dark and solid wooden pieces.

For people like me who love matching their mood with visual inputs, that’s a spot that has got the ability to personalised your morning.

The staff members are just as chilled as the atmosphere the café gives, and their kindness is very well noted.

Great little gem on James Street. Great coffee, amazing food for less than expected. Been here twice this week, would make my regular if I lived here. Also, staff are very friendly and attentive.

Came here to grab some breakfast, was seriously impressed. Everything was fresh and had that ‘home-made’ taste/feel to it. Cold brew coffees were amazing! Highly recommend this place!

Cute and super friendly cafe. The batch brew was great, the almond croissant was dry and chewy. Big breaky was ok, great size serving though especially for the price..

When I woke up this morning I definitely didn't think I'd be having a religious experience over a toastie, yet here we are... The care put into this tiny, tucked away, coffee shop really shows on their flawlessly executed dishes and friendly service.
We're already regulars but somehow we feel like posting a new 5 star review every time we're here.

Truly, the best coffee joint in Brisbane, hands down.

Perfect lunch.

Chocolate milk shake is milky, creamy and smoother than the other place’s shake.

Doggie friendly.
Staff loves my doggie😊

Brekky is awesome 👍
Definitely come back🙂
