Cafe Tara

A lovely little cafe in the Gap village serving Merlo coffee and fresh made food. Dining is is recommended with ample space in the dining area. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I'd definitely visit again.

Been coming her for years now and I can always count on consistently good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Came here with my grandma, the best coffee and smoothies we’ve ever had. Had the breaky wrap and halloumi burger and I couldn’t fault any of it. Was extremely tasty and good serving size. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend. 10/10

Great lamb burger and chips and juice, very reasonably priced, good shaded seating outside and dog friendly. Good variety menu (unlike Covid cancelled brekky only prevailing menus elsewhere). Couldn't ask for more in its price bracket, thanks!

Great coffee and terrific, friendly service. A group of us go every week - if there are scones there, I highly recommend them!

Abysmal!

There was only one other table taken in the cafe (who already had their coffees) and still it took 40 minutes for our food and drinks to arrive.

When they did I was appalled. Paid $14 for a toasted sandwich that was more greasy than the cookers at KFC.

Great food and very warm service by a local 18 years in the area. I had the butterscotch waffle and the sauce was so good I was almost licking the plate. Excellent Merlo coffee as well.

Nice breakfast for a fair price. I had the eggs benedict with a well made piccolo coffee. Super friendly owner.
