うまい!!!!!!!
Wow wow wow.
I thought the pastries were fantastic.
Delicate complex sophisticated flavours are in abundance.
Then I had a Hojicha latte,.....and it was amazing!!!!!!
This place is the real deal.
If you are into Japanese style pastries and desserts, this place is for you.
I'm glad it's not in Tokyo as the wait would be an hour and the line down the street.
Thanks for opening and bringing joy to my mouth.

Too overpriced for what they offer. Everything tasted great but the portions are really tiny for what they charge. And I’ve never seen a 10% weekend surcharge in any cafe… feels almost offensive. It’s good but i wouldn’t come back. There are other places as good as in the area that don’t charge as much.

Everything is fine. Good service.
Nothing to recommend. However I recommended to try everything on the menu.
Coffee and cake are really good.
Inside environment is modern Japanese style.
F.Y.I. Just little bit pricey.

Amazing experience at this little piece of Japan right at our doorstep. The Best Matcha in Brisbane. Hands down. I'm serious. Passionate people think alike. Love everything about it. The execution of the nori roll is perfection. To the handmade pottery cups. Just brilliant. Definitely recommend! If I could give 10 stars I would.

Expensive, slow service. Ok food.
A very nice space with no details to the theme overlooked. From the coffee machine, to the plates, mugs and seats. Even down to the basin and taps in the bathrooms. It does feel like a bit of an experience. The presentation of the food certainly adds to this, and while very much in line with the theme I wouldn’t say the food blows me away. Good, and it if were normally priced I’d recommend but I definitely felt I was paying a premium. 10% Saturday surcharge too. For the portion size certainly not satisfied with the price. The biggest downside though was the service. No table service but only one person to serve at the counter. A long line in the same queue for take away or dine in just to order food. No sense of urgency, or indication that they might try to rectify this either. An attribute of the space?

Their hot beverage is exceptional. Their food menu is limited, not a brunch cafe. But you must try their cheese cake and canelé. The savoury choices like rice ball and kimchi quiche are worth a try, too.

I was in heaven today...a slice of Japan right here in Brisbane! My friend recommended this hidden gem of a cafe and we visited for lunch and dessert. The matcha latte (oat milk) was intense in flavour and such a treat. It is rare to find places in Brisbane that can make this drink well. The Onigiri was tasty and satisfying. I was surprised how much I liked the Nori Roll (vegetarian), it tasted just like pork floss. The hojicha sponge cake was soft and moist, but I wished I'd tried the matcha; next time!
Other reviewers have commented on the price and portions but I feel that they are appropriate. Decor is stunning and worth the visit - I feel like I stepped into a cafe in Japan.
Will be back (very) soon.

Loved their food & drinks. A little pricey overall, but definitely recommend for those who like to indulge the Japanese desserts and their matcha favourites.

One tip for seating (for those who care about eating/drinking dust), although you may like to enjoy the breeze outside, you may want to consider sitting inside as due to dusty carpark nearby & wrong wind direction on the day, a good amount of dust settled on your food & drinks within minutes. We were so surprised of the amount of dust that landed on our drinks & food 😨
