My story started with a phone call from Dylan MORRIS, myself and my wife need legal assistance with a Safety Protection Order and a criminal allegation of threats to Kill from a neighbour. I am a Ill Health Retired Police man with over 27 years experience, diagnosed with Clinical PTSD, Clinical Depression and neurology disorder. Dylan took up our legal representation for these matters. The court process was protracted due to COVID-19. Dylan was like a breath of fresh air, he spoke to me and my wife, very professional, with empathy and a lot of understanding given my Mental Health. Dylan kept us up to date with each Court appearance and what would happen. This process is very emotionally challenging for me due to my Mental Health issues. I do remember one quote from Dylan that took all the emotional pressure off my shoulders. Dylan said" Do you have trust in me" I said "yes". At our last Court appearance Dylan got both myself and my wife's Interim Interventions and Threats to Kill, struck out and our Safety Intervention Orders granted for a further 12 months. This was all done over Court Link, so I never even got the chance to shake Dylan's hand or give him a massive Man HUG for the outcome. I recently went through the worst mental , financial & stressful experience I’ve ever been faced with. Due to not being familiar with the law & how to go about trying to seek help for others without breaching an AVO they had actually placed on myself. I found myself not only in an interview room at a police station but quickly thereafter in a holding cell ( I was still in my wet muddy work clothes ) faced with 4 walls , no one to reach out or talk with I was left feeling helpless , concerned for my own well-being. Not to mention the fear of facing jail time after 43 years of life with no criminal history. I was offered a phone call and immediately called the office of Dribbin & Brown.
