First off, Michael is a top of the line instructor. I learned to fly airplanes with the Air Force and came to Michael for my tail wheel endorsement training. I’ve had many instructors so far in my career, and Michael is as good or better than the best Air Force pilot instructors I’ve had. He flies with a relaxed attitude and a confidence in his own ability to monitor a student flying that allows the student to test their flying ability, make mistakes, and learn from them in a very controlled and safe environment. I highly recommend Michael and Shenandoah Tail Wheel Adventures, and hope I get to fly with him again someday.
