Evans Funeral Home

I have been upset since my sisters funeral and wanted to say something every since then I diced to wait awhile. One of your people I believe his name is Bill was talking at the funeral about what bad shape my sister was in now this upset me and my brother.
We left the funeral home to go to the cemetery I was shocked they had nothing set up no chairs no tent nothing to lower the casket in the grave they took ropes and lowered her casket.
My sister didn't have money so we did the best we could for her I feel like your funeral services were very poor.
I feel there should have been something in place to lower her casket in the ground my heart was broken to see this I thought they were gonna drop her.
And your man acted like it was a joke his name is tony if I'm not mistaken
And her picture was not in the paper now sad

My mom passed away on December 29th 2014. I financially supported her without the help of my sister or brother. I even had taken out a life insurance policy for her burial. I called the funeral home to try to find out that my estranged siblings made all the arrangements without consulting me to see what I may have wanted for mommy. The funeral home would not even tell me what she was wearing or what her casket looked like. The person I spoke to at Evans Funeral Home was rude and dismissive to me on the phone. During a time when you would think they would take my feelings of loss and sadness into consideration and not treat me as if I were a stranger but her oldest grieving son instead were callous in their behavior.

Evans does a wonderful job and has for our family for many years...
