Tri-County Tire: A Glotfelty Tire Store

Took me at my appointment time and was reasonable on the wait time for them to perform the task. They are always super busy so if you need an oil change or something simple make an appointment a few days before you want it done. FYI

Came to have 4 new tires put on my significant others vehicle. She works in Petersburg which is about an hour away from home so I rode the street bike down to pick up the car and take it to a tire service center local to Petersburg. I had also been referred to Glotfelty tire by a very trustworthy individual when it comes to car maintenance.

The tire size I needed was scheduled for delivery that morning however, due to some unforeseen circumstances on the distribution company’s end the truck was going to be late and I had only a short window to get the job done so I could return to our hometown. Instead of taking the car back getting on my bike and riding home defeated, to my surprise I was offered to have them keep the car until the tires came in and they would drop it off at her work when it was complete. She was scheduled to leave at 5pm that evening so tires or not the vehicle would need to be back before then. I was reassured that they would make it happen and they did just that! I was given a ride back to my motorcycle, headed back home and within an hour or two she said they had dropped the car off new tires and all!

Upon my wait I made some observations. Tri-County Tire is a well oiled machine. This place is BUSY, not packed, BUSY and there’s no mistaking why. You just can’t get this kind of service anywhere else. They are GETTING S*** DONE up in here. They have multiple service bays depending on the type of work being done. They are NOT sluggish as far as the tire service not even comparable to Walmart! I’ve seen some cars go in and the job complete in just under a minute or two! The customer service staff are very friendly and will go to great lengths to make sure you are satisfied. The service employees are also friendly as well asking how your doing whenever they would pass through. Quite a bit of customers were well known like regulars at a morning coffee shop. They are very transparent as far as wait times if it’s going to be a while they let you know ahead of time and even then I saw most customers only waiting for about 30 minutes. The tires are great quality I bought Kelly tires a subsidy of Goodyear and the price was only $5-10 more than what you pay at Walmart and from what I can see in the long run your saving money with a better quality tire that will last longer.

I would recommend a Glotfelty Tire store to anyone within a 50 mile radius over any other tire service center. If you go anywhere else your doing it wrong!

They have no idea what they’re talking about. You can’t get an alignment done for months. I tried to have one done but they said my whole front end needed replaced, so I took it to another shop and everything was perfect. They won’t warranty their tires even though my alignment was inside of the parameters. Definitely will never get tires there again. Only go there if you wanna spend an arm and a leg.

I stopped in due to a bad tire and they were very helpful. They were only open for a few hours on Saturday and they fit me in. I would definitely visit them again if I needed to.

Long wait. Not very good experience with mechanic work. For tires and inspections all was good. But I will no longer take my vehicle there due to poor service when it came to mechanical work.
