Visited Home Depot and bought quite a bit of lighting and other materials for around the house. The employees were a great help!!! I always go to Home Depot instead of Lowe's first. It's a little closer to me and the prices are usually cheaper for the items I need.

Its a very clean and well maintained store. I usually get neat graphic tee's and other miscellaneous home decor here, as well as oddball items.

If you are looking for a variety of stores in one location without going into the mall, them Merritt Creek Plaza is a great place to start. It offers a wide variety of stores and plenty of parking. The main stores are Target, Home Depot and Pet Co. There is also a very popular Starbucks store and a great family-run Thai restaurant. If you are anything like me and loathe going into the mall, then this is the place for you. 5 Below and Buff City Soap are the new stores in the plaza.

If you look hard enough you can find some really nice things but be careful I find a few snags or holes. It's kind of like the new gabs....a lot of cute things if you have the time to look. Good luck
