Gloria is extremely rude and unhelpful when you call. Don't expect her to check for anything cause that would mean walking away from the phone and doing her job. If you want to work at a post office, expect calls and questions involving what's that? You guessed it Mail!!!!! If a person is expecting a highly important letter or package who should they call? McDonalds? How about Hampton Inn? I'm starting to wonder if maybe they would be more help than my last few attempts were. I know one thing for certain and that is I'm positive they wouldn't be as rude and hateful as the post office just now was. Have a nice day Gloria. I'll take ny complaint higher and see what they say about asking questions.

How can a po send emails telling you they tried to deliver your packages but you were not home 5 hours before the mailman delivered the mail? I am always here and I watch the mailman run everyday. 5 packages so far have been left at the po but they say the tried to deliver hours before the mail actually ran. I have to drive 40 miles round trip to pick up packages that I paid to be delivered!

Well let's see, it is 10:30am now and I've been trying to contact someone to ask a question about a package but I've been calling now for literally 30 minutes straight but no one seems to be there because no one will answer. I know that there is someone there it is Saturday and the hours are from 10am to 12pm. We have literally let it ring until it cuts me off then I dialed it again and let it ring until it will ring no more for 30 minutes straight now. What in the world is going on here? I've heard of other people complaining they can't get anyone to answer their questions and that they are very rude and now I can't even get someone to be rude to Me! What is going on at the Summersville post office? They need to find another employee that will actually attempt to do their job! I'm going to find the number to the administration and let them know that this is ridiculous! Gloria just does not want to fool with anyone so she is refusing to answer the phone and that is unacceptable! So take your mail elsewhere if you plan to get it or have any packages you need sent, or have any questions because they certainty won't be of any help!

It's interesting how they can manage to deliver the envelopes to the mailbox, but not the packages to the door--and yet mark said packages as having been placed on the (enclosed) front porch. I was at the window at the time. The carrier never came near my house.

Don’t even deserve a star!! Not delivering their mail like supposed to! Sending mail back with good address and mail carrier not even doing their route and nothing is getting done!!!! And they can never answer their phone

The new building is much better than the old one. It's more convenient, plenty of parking, and the staff was nice.
