Cancer center nursing staff are very friendly. You feel important, valuable. They are angels. Wish there were more like them.

My first surgery at this hospital and by far the best surgical experience I've ever had. The time between arriving and being taken into surgery was the shortest I have ever experienced. All the doctors, nurses, and staff were warm, friendly, and professional. I received impeccable treatment. I even got a hand signed Thank You card from same day surgery employees. It was nice a nice touch. The entire surgical procedure and after care was by far better than I ever received at WMRMC in Cumberland.

I had knee surgery seven weeks ago. I would like to thank Dr. Vahedi very much for his patience and kindness during this time. Also, his office staff, they were very friendly and helpful. The surgery went well. The nurses at the hospital were very kind. And a big thank you to Ben, Tyler and all the staff for all your encouragement at rehab.

Small hospital and nice employees. The food is real good. The problem with this hospital is that it is a patch, stabilize, and if needed ship you out to Morgantown. They can run tests but then they need to send them out to be read.

So I've have 2-3 non life threatening injuries taken care of with no problem and fairly decent service, although my most recent experience was life threatening atleast it was in my eyes. Went Into have them look at my throat which was swollen on the left side to the point i could hardly speak, they tell my wife and kids they can not accompany me to the er room which I don't understand because when I nearly cut my finger off during covid not a word was said about them being in the room.... so I go back have a hard time explaining what was going on because I couldn't speak.... they run test on me for strep throat and covid 19 (aka the flu) I sit in room for a hour listening to two males in the nursing station talking about guns, ammo and cursing like they where on a construction site..... not public hospital talk, so both my results come back negative and nurse comes back and tells me that the doctor I never seen believes I have tonsillitis and prescribed me amoxicillin, and to follow up in 10 days with a primary care physician..... so I go home after getting meds,, by this time I can hardly speak at all I try to sip chicken broth and I am in such pain that I give up on trying and try to go to sleep and let meds set in..... about 3 am I wake up and try to drink iced tea and it comes out my nose, so I wait a bit to wake up my wife and kids to get a second opinion...... needless to say I've been sitting in the icu for 2 days....... needless to say I won't be going back......

Can tell when a doctor don't want to be bothered with treating a patient along with the nursing staff. Never in my life have i been in an out of an ER in less then half hour. No exams no nothing. Told me appricate our your primary dr because their was nothing he could do and walked out. Only gave a 1 bc the receptionist was sweet as pie. Don't waste your time, go sit at UMPC oh also sent me out with someone else's paper work.
