It's Mo!
It's Mo!
It's quite a walk (no uphill or downhill) so make sure to have some comfortable shoes on. Please be careful. There will be mud (depending on where and when you go) and always make sure to look down, especially on the rocks at the end of the overlook. Also, don't drop your phone.

Easy hike out to the lookout. Beautiful views and, if you're as lucky as we were, you might catch a glimpse of a fighter jet so close you can see the pilot's helmet and read the markings on the plane!

Also, if you're adventurous and don't mind some "trail pinstriping" on your well-equipped off-roader, you might also enjoy a drive into the forest past the yellow warning sign adjacent to the trailhead parking area. But be careful and don't go too far!

Easy hike with a great payoff view! Hit it up while in the blackwater falls and river area! Did a lot of hiking! Was a good time!

There were several reviews that said the trail was good for young kids. I would say maybe older young kids there are lots of roots and rocks on the path to the overlook however it is all worth it for the view at the end.

It was quite a drive from Davis to this place but it was well worth it - the view is beautiful. The walk from where we parked the car to the point is quite short (probably about 15 minutes) and it was not hard at all. It is really quite a breathtaking view.

I loves this trail, and the overlook is to die for! Do not travel down the road past parking area, it says 4x4 only and they arnt kidding... don't try it if you are notbin a truck that sits high. I have an outback and there is no way I would have made it.
