Different view of falls from other side of canyon trees recently cleared for better view

Great view from this deck, but subjectively not the best spot. The stairs to this deck offer a broader view of the falls. This is the closest location to the falls.

This is a great view of Blackwater Falls, higher up and opposite the main boardwalk viewing area. The trail to the observation area is short and well maintained.

It was my first time going here and I love it and it was very fun with my boyfriend going there and looking around with him and we will definitely be back there.

A good view of Blackwater Falls through the forest. This location is inside the Blackwater Falls park. There are at least 3 places to see the falls from inside the park. This is probably the easiest view although it is from the longest distance so it may not be the best place to view the falls. The view by the trading post on the north side seems to have a much better view. If you have time and can go down the steeper slope of the trail or stairs by the trading post, I would suggest checking both locations out while in the park. This view/location is about 1/3 of a mile past the intersection as you enter the park and about 600 feet past the bridge as you drive into the park. Drive toward the lodge and this stop will be on the right hand side of the road. There are not many parking spaces at this location. The walkway is on the north side of the parking lot. This is the wheelchair accessible view of the falls. It is a short walk from the parking lot (about 0.25 mile) and is an easy trail to get to the viewpoint. It is a beautiful view and well worth the stop. I recommend this for my fellow travelers visiting the park.
