Mr. Handyman of Kanawha Valley

The paint on my chimney was peeling. I needed someone to scrape/pressure wash the chimney and repaint it. Mr Handyman was extremely professional. A date was set for them to look at it. I got a reminder the day before the worker was to come out. Mr Handyman was punctual and got the work done in a very timely manner. The chimney looks great at an affordable price. I’m extremely happy, and I will definitely use their services again. Thank you so much!

I had them come out and remove an old entrance door and install a new entrance door. The contractor did an excellent job, was very polite and finished right away.

Called for an estimate, needed wood steps rebuilt, he came out, said he would call back in a week. Called back after a week, was told that estimates usually take 2 weeks minimum. Called back after 2 weeks, was informed that technician had quit/fired. Was told he didn't turn in estimate. Called again after 2 more weeks to ask for a second estimate, was told they would call back. They finally called back after a few days with an estimate they originally claimed wasn't turned in. The amount I was going to budget, based on two previous estimates, under $10,000. Was shocked when they quoted me $38,000. Mr Handyman will NEVER get my business. I was lied to, and made to feel I wasn't worth their time.

Robert installed a dog door I purchased in a metal door in under an hour and the cost was significantly under the quote. Work was perfect. Arrived on time, professional and pleasant. Couldn’t be more pleased and highly recommend.

George, the technician, arrived on time and worked very efficiently to assemble my table and stools. He was personable as well as professional. He also cleaned the work area and helped me arrange furniture. He was outstanding.

Tim, the Handyman, arrived on time and installed an exterior door. He had to remove a storm door and fit exterior door into same space. He did an excellent job in good time in the freezing temperatures. Tim did a very good job.

Our hot water tank was leaking. We had to replace it. Anytime these types of things happen, it’s very stressful. —Especially when you find the problem right before your in-laws arrive! 😩

Kim is very helpful and you can tell she cares. (Other businesses outsource their incoming calls to call centers.) Joe was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and confident. The perfect blend of adjectives to allow your mind to rest knowing you are in good hands.

He assessed the situation, got the necessary parts, and did the installation. The space was cleaned up when he finish the job. The whole process took about five hours, and we are SO thankful that he was able to arrive when he did!

I would recommend this company for any jobs that require a handyman.

Scott Branham was so professional, kind and just a quality person! I have other jobs I need done and will DEFINITELY call Mr Handyman and request Scott again. My lights look beautiful! And my new outlets he had to move are perfect!! He even hung my new mirror for me! I have been trying to get this work done since at least August.
