Avalon Resort

This resort is an incredible escape for someone who’s interested in getting away from the constant barrage of everyday life. As I drove into the resort we were greeted by all kinds of wildlife including frogs, foxes, and deer.

At the check-in desk the office manager was extremely warm and welcoming and alleviated some of the stress and anxiety I had coming here. This was my first time at a place like this but I felt right at home.

Once in, the accommodations and facilities were absolutely perfect for what I needed. The pool, the hot tub, and most of all, the people were incredible. I will absolutely be back! Highly recommend.

It's a great place to roam around naked. However, for someone who is single with no girlfriend or wife, trying to get a female to spend time with me is very difficult and frowned upon. It can get very lonely for those of us who want to have the same enjoyment married couples and girlfriends and boyfriends enjoy. I feel so alone when I'm there.

Lots of nice hiking trails, wildlife, heated pool, and hot tub. Some items are in disrepair but the community makes up for it as they are all very welcoming and friendly. Pet friendly as well. Overall a great experience, should be more places like this around.

Needs upkeep and better maintenance. Be ready to be OFF THE GRID!!!! It is a very difficult location in an RV. Be sure you have a diesel pusher to make the mountains. Not worth the price or journey for us.

I love camping at Avalon. A little hiking, swimming, friendly people/staff, and a quick 2hr drive from the DMV. Give it a try - you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed for a week very relaxing and peaceful, everyone was very friendly a must stay.

This is a great place to visit! The staff was incredibly nice and the services are fantastic. I enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, and the evening music party. My friends and I had a blast and will return to this lovely place again someday. You won't regret giving Avalon a try.

Being new to nudist resorts this was the second time ever my wife and I stayed in a nude resort… and we loved it! We stayed in one of the cabins and it was a most pleasant surprise with it’s tidiness a how spacious it was. And the cabin has everything (yes to air conditioning and no to a tv… which wasn’t missed) you’d need. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food was good and we were readily accepted in. My wife is ordinarily very shy and self conscious as we’re both older and no longer have beach bodies but the people there took us right in and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back!
