What a surprise to find in an isolated West Virginia town! This is a truly magnificent collection of artifacts and uniforms, lovingly collected and preserved by the people of the town. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed hearing about the local artist who made the faces of the mannequins to resemble the soldiers to whom the uniforms originally belonged.

Amazing little museum for a small town. Exhibits done extremely well. A must see if visiting or just passing through. It will be worth your time.

A hidden gem and delightful find. What a collection and presentation of WWII items. We especially enjoyed the focus on women in the military, from the recruitment posters to the uniforms to the gear. Thank you to the donors and creators of the displays.

Amazing museum! Highly recommended a visit such great details and a wonderful collection of WWII artifacts. Displays are of the quality I would expect of a professional and well funded museum, no detail is missed.

The museum for WW2 is free and donations are encouraged. We had Bob and Shirley give us a narration of the museum. All but one mannequin head was handmade the one that wasn't was a local female that was a cast.

Words can't explain how great this museum is, definitely worth a visit.

Went there a few months ago, and thought I should spread awareness about this wonderful place. The tour guides are phenomenal and have lots of personal insight into the exhibits. The mannequins look great and the museum is set up really nicely. Some of the nicest people I've meet
