Massive Civil War fort well preserved with interpretive signage. Easy hike with good views. Land is protected by the Civil War Trust.

One of my favorite walks. I always find lots of wild life, there is enough tree cover for the illusion of seclusion even though it's in town, and it's up the hill from the hospital in case of injury! 9/10, would recommend.

Such an amazing location to look over Petersburg and learn some local history. The grounds are generally well kept but the site could use some care with updated fact sheets and some better preservation/upkeep for the canons and flags.

We loved it. My man is a big history buff and there is alot of history there. Very very well kept up. And the view to the mountains makes it even better

This is a great spot to learn some history about Petersburg and enjoy nature. The signage outlining the history of the fort is in pretty rough shape and I feel they could use better pictures of how the site originally looked. It makes you wonder what life was like all those years ago.

Beautiful park full of history. Nice place for Pokémon hunting too.

Kind of a Let down, But better than a lot of the sites in the area and there are some informative signs and some cannons to look at.
