Hedgesville Public Library

We live in Hedgesville and needed to print of a couple of forms, so we headed to the Hedgesville Library because it's the most convenient. We were told we could not use the computer unless we had a library card. We explained that we were not avid library users, but are residents of Hedgesville and just needed to print off a couple of pages. We were willing to pay for the pages we printed, but were still turned away and told no....So we just went to Berkeley Springs.

I have never visited a library where the librarians talk as endlessly and loudly as the ones do at the Hedgesville Public Library. I came here to study using the WiFi but instead learned all about the libriarians brothers job prospects, how much she loves her pressure cooker, and what TV shows on cable she lets her kids watch. Even after a visitor complained they just kept loudly going on and on.
Somebody needs to remind these librarians this is a LIBRARY and not the local beauty salon. Perhaps a "Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" is in order for each of them.

My granddaughter and I love this library!! It is very well managed and has lots of activities for children! Story time is so much fun! My granddaughter loves the dollhouse and all the other games they have! They have so many great books for children and adults alike!

If you do not like big public libraries then Hedgesville Public Library is the place for you! It is an awesome place to go and read or do your online work. You MUST have a Berkeley county librabry card to have access to anything, so even if you are not an avid librarian, it does not matter. It only takes a couple seconds of your time to sign up, be given a library card, and do what you need to do.
The environment is comforting and relaxing. The ladies are extremely helpful and very social. ☺ They have a amazing selections of movies and books. The building is clean and kept up with every week. If you need Wi-Fi/computer access for work, school, or anything in general then stop on in after 10am. They have high speed internet for free, will help you with anything, and even assist you with online guidance when stuck or froze. They host all kinds of amazing programs for kids, tweens, teens, and adults as well as fun crafting for kids and adults. They also host book reading groups for clubs/friends/family.
So stop on in and support the public library! Bring your family and friends for fun programs!
My heart ached after last week's mishap and am beyond happy I was confronted today about my nasty but honest review. I only wish I would have said something that day in that moment. I am happy to be returning every week for the rest of my college lessons.

Great little library, friendly staff. Glad we have this in our area. if you dont belong join. Great at this time to get young people into reading and discovering the true value of books.

It is cozy and the librarians are super helpful. I ordered some books and they were available for me to check out faster than I thought they would be and that was nice.
