We have used Altmeyer Funeral Homes throughout the years for various family. The dignity of our loved one who had passed, the attention to details, and the sensitivity of our grieving during a difficult time was very important to us. Our family was pleased with everything done for us by all of the wonderful Moundsville staff. I would thoroughly recommend them for all funeral services. Altmeyer cares.

I would choose no other funeral home in the area other than Altmeyer Funeral Home. I lost my husband, Mike, in March. Steve Jasko and the staff are very nice to work with. Everything about the service was just perfect. I could not ask to be treated any better. They have a compassion and caring that other facilities in the area do not have.

You like to think you'll never need a place like this, but the truth is we all will, at least once. I will always recommend CARE above all others. I would like to thank Steve Jasko for guiding us through this ordeal, explaining our options and helping us make things go smoothly. Special thanks to Tonya Nulph who graciously dealt with my family's last minute changes -- and everyone else who expressed genuine care for my family.

Funerals aren't cheap and we all know it's a business, but it's nice to find people who can strike that difficult balance between treating you like a customer without being cold and treating you like family without seeming fake.

When my mom passed, we held her visitation and services at Altmeyer's in Moundsville. They were very nice to deal with. Frank Gonchoff, along with all the other employees there, went above and beyond. Would definitely deal with them again.

Frank Gonchoff is absolutely the best! At the most difficult time in my life, Frank went over and above his call of duty to make us feel comforted. There just are not enough words to thank him. He is truly dedicated and great at his job.

My Dad had passed away New Years Eve, Frank at Almeyers went above and beyond to help make things easier getting everything needed for my Dads memorial service. Thank you Frank for all your help through our difficult time.

Very professional, yet compassionate people. They make a very difficult time a little easier to bear.

My mom past away, unexpected in 2020. Looking back it was one big haze. Altmeyer really stepped up and guided me through that difficult and stressful time. At that time, I was broke. I couldn't afford to pay for the cremation let alone any kind of memorabilia. They still did what needed to be done. And I will always be grateful to them. What they did, may not seem like a lot to some ppl, but to me, it meant the world, as my mom also meant the world to me. After 2 years, I called to tell them I can start paying them what was owed, and turns out its paid for already. I hope i can still get some ashes.. Thank You for every thing..
