Positive: The 24 hour available juice and coffee. The bed was comfortable. Pets allowed. Negative: Was not the cleanest. Hot breakfast was not great! Coffee was old and not hot. Breakfast sandwich was frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches. The eggs and potatoes that was available was not palatable. Just not what I would call a full hot breakfast as I was told

First let me say the staff was fantastic and the lobby was gorgeous. Unfortunately the rest of the establishment was disappointing. The pullout sofa bed was severely stained in multiple areas! The room was extremely dated and the color scheme made the room very unappealing. Not worth the price.

This was supposed to be a relaxing stay to end our vacation and leisurely way to break up drive from Tennessee to Maryland. My family and I stayed here upon return from Michigan on New Year's Day and it was great. Upon arrival, the person working the front desk informed me that my room has a broken computer chair which meant my stepson would not be using the desk. Once my family and I got to the room, it smelled like an ashtray and had a bug trap hanging from the ceiling. This is unacceptable and my family and I decide to drive the remaining 3 hours plus to go home after already driving 9 hours from Nashville that day. The Club Wyndham Vacation Sidekick App has this hotel advertised as non-smoking but clearly Microtel does not enforce the policy. When complaining to the front desk the person offered to spray the room while my family and I leave for an hour or two, which would make matters worse. The main entry to the road leading to the hotel as a huge pothole where you practically have to drive over the grass to avoid damaging your vehicle. After our experience with the Best Western near the Huntington (where we decided to leave before checking in) and this hotel, we will never book a hotel in West Virginia again. It is sad because the people that do work the front desk at these hotels are great people and will try to help you, but the rooms are horrendous and I would not recommend staying there. Like my review for Best Western in Huntington, I think part of the issue is with the Club Wyndham Vacation Sidekick App.

It was reasonably priced. The room was clean and well maintained. There was a coffee maker, mini refrigerator and microwave. There was a free breakfast. We were able to be on the first floor . It is really quiet there. The room had a desk , couch. The bed was firm. The only thing was that there were only two towels and there wasn't a bath rug . The staff was friendly. I would recommend and stay there again

I stayed for a weekend for a wedding. My ac was broke and the room stayed almost 80 degrees, water pressure in the shower felt like a drizzle, and I suggest getting the coffee at 5am when they make the only pot. I had a cup around 8am and it tasted like it’d been there for 3 days

Poor service, didn't pickup garbage or makeup beds. Had to ask for clean towels. The continental breakfast of coffee, teas and juice and assorted cold cereals was good. The staff was to laid back. The cost was to expensive for $238.00 for one evening and two days. Coffee machine and condiments in room, had to ask them to restock each day. Their was constant noise above our heads with each night we stayed. People were running down the hall during the late night into early morning. We didn't complain, but should have.

I’ve stayed here once before and chose to try them again! Didn’t have any issues either stay! It’s a pretty basic hotel, everything is clean, and employees are friendly. Due to COVID they have a small grab and go breakfast area, I grabbed some pop tarts and a cereal bar, I later realized they had already expired. But truly no big deal, I had a clean room and no bugs which was way more important to me!
