We were looking for a companion for our boy Finn. We went in on a Saturday that they were short staffed and you never would have known it. We were fortunate to have Larry help us with a few meet and greets with a few of the adorable dogs that were available and we expressed interest in. He was beyond patient and offered some sound guidance. We.... or more accurately, Finn, selected "Lucy", now Merida, to be his sister. Major kudos to all the staff here, you're saving lives, 4 legged and 2 legged alike. Thank you for all you do.

Very happy that we went to this facility. They were kind to us and the pets. We adopted a 3 yo female Sheltie named Precious. She is so smart and beautiful. Very sweet, doesn't. Indeed being picked, up or loved. She is house broke also. They said she was from a kill shelter and had only had her 3 days before the other shelter was going to euthanized her. So glad they got her. WE ARE OVER JOYED SHE HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME WITH US.

Recently used the Evelyn Kilmer Spay Neuter clinic and found everyone there to be helpful, informed and interested in the cat’s well-being. Shari helped set up the appointment and Jeanie assisted the day of and both were very professional.
Berkeley County residents are lucky to have them and this service in the community.

They were very nice and caring. We had to surrender a pet that was very sweet but didn't do well I'm a multi cat home. Broke our hearts but they were confident they'd find him a good home. Thank you!

This is the first time I have ever been here! I went with my friend to adopt a Huskie that was apparently dropped off in the middle of the night by someone that didn’t want him anymore. My friend brought her dog to meet the huskie and make sure they get along. The people that were working were very nice and helpful and the whole process of paperwork was like 15-20 minutes!

The staff was very kind to me, and helpful as well. They even took time to help me fill out paperwork as I am visually impaired. That means a lot. The facility is clean and furbabies are not piled on each other. They didn't mind me visiting both cats and dogs. Also, if I messaged them on Facebook, they answered in a timely manner.

I brought in kittens that were sick and one that was dying and the moment I walked in was treated with disrespect. I have 5 cats of my own (i love animals, esp cats. Anyone who knows me knows ill take in a cat and tske care, reason i have 5)and thought I was doing the right thing but this woman and the vet there mean mugged me and were so rude to me I cried. I don't know how other staff treats people but that experience alone, I'll never go back.
