My dear aunt was a recent patient there. Dr Horner, the ER physician, was outstanding. The nursing staff and nurse practitioners also just spot on and wonderful. I’m an ICU nurse of nearly 30 years, as well as a nurse anesthetist. I was extremely pleased with her care both in the ER and in the inpatient unit on the third floor. Marion County is very fortunate to have this option.

My daughter was a patient there this evening. All of the er staff that we encountered tonight did an excellent job from her care to answering all of my questions and explaining things thoroughly. The janitor , Rick made my daughter's evening after being in pain all day. He spoke to in a friendly manner and even gave her a stuffed bear to make her feel better. Wonderful job folks. Thanks for having compassion and being kind to us during our visit.

ALL of the staff at the hospital were FABULOUS folks! Treated my husband really well! Would NOT hesitate about going here again in the future if needed!

Everyone was very nice here from the reception to the doctor. I have to say I felt silly going in to the ER because of joint pain and a severe headache, but I did. Everyone was professional and I felt respected. Dr. Godwin was very attentive and listened to me, provided me a referral. I'd recommend it. Wait time was short too.

Would not recommend, went there for shortness of breath and chest pain. They wouldn't fully listen and when the did listen, it wasn't the parts they NEEDED to know. The staff was extremely rude. They gave me meds to help me breathe and when I went home it caused a reaction because of my other meds . I went back in because it was so intense it looked like I had cerebral palsy(I'm sorry but it's the best way to explain it). They laughed at me and practically said I was faking me breathing hard. I WISH I WAS BUT NOPE I WASNT. They wouldn't listen or help me after that because they gave me a walking breathing test and I mentioned the first time going in i was recovering from a hurt rib so that didn't help me breathing and when we did the test they said I wasn't breathing. THERE WAS POINTS I COULDNT BREATHE BUT I WAS TRYING ! I couldn't fully breathe cause of the rib and before I could explain they were implying I was faking it. They said they couldn't find anything and told them if it got worse I'd be back and they put on my chart that I was like no matter what going to come back.
No! They over did it to be honest. Don't go here they will let you suffer and tell you your faking it. Worst hospital ever.

All the ER does is talk. If the ER staff would do their job and get their patients in and out it would be a successful hospital but all they want to do is talk.
