Pleasants County Dog Shelter

Small underfunded shelter that has a great responsive staff. We got a beagle pup orginally named Tatum from them. We call her Daisy, and she brightens up our lives every day.

This is one of the best shelters!! They do so much to keep the fur babies happy and loved while they wait for their forever homes. <3

Small underfunded staff is correct but it is one of the best dog shelters I have ever been to. The folks that work there truly care.

Nice staff and good faculties. I came after hours, but I could hear the dogs and I know happy barks when I hear them- they were happy. Lots of room to roam around.

Small shelter and they are so dedicated.

This is a great shelter run by an amazing lady. Friends of mine adopted a Shih Tzu from them and they love him so much. My husband and I donated a tree that fell during a storm. They use wood to heat this facility.

They are very nice there and helped me so much. They were very patient with all my calls and questions and were willing to let me come and get my dog on a day they were closed. They obviously care very much for the dogs there. I am extremely grateful for this shelter and the amazing people who work there!

It is a great place to adopt from I adopted once and I volunteer there. Always great for the people and animals.
