Just finished our trip here and the campsites are really nice. They are clean, shady, and decent size. The restrooms are cleaned periodically but they were very clean. We ran into a few things that were kinda disappointing but mostly because of covid not because of the park. No visitors lake was closed and you have to use their firewood and most of the firewood was damp so it was hard to get a decent fire started. But over all was a nice trip and we will be coming back again! Also the lake picnic area is like a min away driving time and has a amazing view

Nice, quiet campground. No water or sewer sites, but they have a place to fill when you enter and dump when you leave.

Simply amazing! Very clean and well maintained and the staff is super friendly. The lots are spacious andpads are great and very level. The nearby jennings Randolph lake is so beautiful and clean.. great for boating kayaking and has a nice swimming area. The views are beautiful at the campground and super family and pet friendly. Great hiking trails as well and a stocked fishing pond with benches around it and a gazebo and handicap accessible. We loved our stay and will definitely go back.

Overall a a pretty great and well maintained campground. There is a small catch and release fishing pond, a couple trails to explore with some great views, a small camp store that has some things you may have forgotten or realize you need, and 2 nice and newer playgrounds. Backloop is definitely better for tent camping.
Be mindful of camp store hours, week days they are only open a couple hours in the afternoon or evening and is the only place nearby to get ice or firewood.

Nice ACE campground. Most of the sites are very nice all are paved. Some have addition of gravel to extend the length. Some are short and some are far from level even though they’re paved. There is one shower house so if you’re in the higher numbered loop you need to walk through the wooded path or around the road. Bath house and shower house maybe a 6/10. Mostly clean but pretty dated and lack of upkeep in terms of painting etc.
the roads getting from Keyser, WV or Westernport MD are narrow, winding and have steep switchbacks. Not big rig friendly but big rigs can manage them at a low speed. I would NOT take the road to or from Keyser with a camper. We did it getting there and then did 46 to amd from Westernport. There are a couple of nice hiking trails. There’s no path, that we found, from the campground to the lake. The lake is beautiful and clear and has a swimming beach, picnic area and overlook with Waffle rock (an interesting 300 million year old unique geological pattern, and lake construction history.

Had a great time. The grounds are clean. The people super friendly. Having a shower and standard electric hookup is great. Really appreciate the store in camp.

I have a new Class C RV and this was my first camping weekend. I had a great time there - it was clean, level, quiet, electric was well maintained, and staff was friendly and so helpful! It was Big Foot weekend and they had T-shirts, hot dogs, an outdoor movie, and a hike at night to look for Big Foot. Normally, I'd participate; however, only 3 hrs of sleep, the stress of driving an RV that was 27 feet (and I never drove a truck), and then setting up camp - I passed. It's a beautiful area and I highly recommend it. It was a wonderful 1st experience! Thank you!
