South Fork General Store

Super cool little spot hidden from the road but with wonderfully friendly and hospitable owners.

We recently traveled from Ohio & had the pleasure of visiting this store while on a hunting trip nearby. The area is extremely scenic, but generally remote with no phone, web or TV service. The owners define the word hospitable. They offer the use of their wi-fi & phone asking for nothing in return. When we expressed an interest in watching a 3 hour sporting event on Sunday evening, they freely offered to stay open well past closing time so we could watch the TV.
They have all the basic necessities for sale (including beer), and a full kitchen/grill for great hot and cold meals. We cannot over recommend this place for anyone that finds themselves in that vicinity.
Thank-you for being so kind and helpful, you made our trip so much more enjoyable. You are truly a valuable asset to that locale.

A great spot for burgers, sandwiches, or just to catch up on the local news. Has plenty of everyday use sundries as well.
