The Billy Motel & Bar / ISH Kitchen

This quaint roadside motel was perfect! Super cute on the outside and even cuter in the room! My favorite part-- a bottle opener attached to the counter in the bathroom!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I thought it was so clever!
The bar was awesome! I loved all the art and wallpapers! The staff was so friendly, we met Josh and Al on Sat! And I met Kristen on Sunday! You get to enjoy two free cocktails during your stay and they offer a delicious rich French pressed coffee with thick creamer in the morning! Can't wait to visit again!

This place is a hidden gem! My sister & I stayed last nite, enjoyed a drink at the bar ( unfortunately the small restaurant was closed for the evening). Josh was great, fresh pressed coffee delivered to our room. I highly recommend this place. Thank you staff for the experience!!

Friendly hip mom and pop style motel with a mid century vibe. A lot of thought went into the retro decor which I wish the rooms had more of. The lounge was awesome. Only lacking a microwave for leftover warm ups. Super fun for a night or two stay.

I was meeting some colleagues here on the morning of 10/12/22 and noticed a gentleman walk out of the bar/restaurant area with a tray of French press coffee and decided that I needed some while I waited. I walked in and ordered and a few minutes later the very friendly server/bartender/owner (?) brought out my tray of coffee. I asked for the bill and he advised me that it was free for the guests. I let him know that I wasn't a guest but he said that it was still free. Wouldn't take a dime and shared some info with me about the restaurant and the food that they serve (that my colleagues confirmed was exceptional). What a great way to start the day! I've never stayed here before but the next time that I'm headed to Davis I'm going to make it a point to stay. Thanks for the coffee!

A delightful and retro-quirky stop on the edge of Davis. The rooms are clean and cozy. The bar is an absolute gem. And the kitchen is out of this world.

Staff are friendly, courteous, and kind.

This place perfectly captures the off-beat artisanal spirit of modern day Canaan Valley. It's a must stop.

Friendly bartenders! Great place to grab a drink and relax. I especially love the retro fireplace on a chilly night - so cozy! If you haven't visited the Billy Bar you need to add it to your list.

I had the best experience ever at the Billy! I was just passing through Davis and got caught in an unexpected snowstorm and decided to stay the night. As I was traveling by myself, I was a bit nervous but felt so safe and welcome. The employees were so friendly and recommended some fun things to do for the evening. The hotel itself was clean and cool. The decor was fun and there is a cozy fireplace in the bar/lobby. They also had so many nice little things that made the experience special like complimentary drink tokens, delicious coffee in the morning, and even a cooler ready for adventures (which I sadly didn’t get the chance to use). While this stay was unexpected, I’m already thinking of an excuse to get some friends together and come back.

Laden with cute, thoughtful and artsy touches. A very comfortable bed in a simple and unpretentious mountain escape.

The restaurant/lounge really makes the experience. It's welcoming, intimately lit and not too loud. This spot attracts a mix of locals and guests, and the staff were attentive and entertaining.

We sat at the bar for dinner and immediately made two friends! The menu was healthy, fresh, inventive and ample for the price.

All on one level which makes it accessible and convenient. Dog-friendly with a patch of grass close by for those late night pitstops.
