Pet friendly BBQ joint next to the river! Food was delicious, especially their sauces. We ended up buying one to take home. Great vibes all around and stellar service.

Fabulous atmosphere and we loved the outdoor deck for dining. I had the smoked 1/2 chicken with white BBQ sauce and it was AMAZING! The friend pickles were spot on with a fabulous thick ranch dipping sauce. My son's smoked brisket sandwich was phenomenal, absolutely the most moist and flavorful brisket either of us have ever had. Our server Kayla was OUTSTANDING! This is a must try when you're in the Elkins area!

We had a really nice meal and our waitress was really nice. We had the stuffed hot peppers for appetizer. The were delicious and spicy! I had the brisket dinner and my wife had the half rack of ribs. We both had the cole slaw. I had the bbq baked beans and she had green been almandine. Everything was really tasty. They also had a great variety of hot sauce to savor with your meal. We had no room for dessert! We were able to sit outside which was nice, quieter and our table was right beside a beautiful stream the outdoor weather was a bit rainy, but they have a huge covered outside seating area. Was a really good smoke house and we would go back again!

If you are into authentic Texas BBQ, this is your place. Great wings and brisket, smoked by Pitmaster John. You can add a sauce or eat it straight up. Many others choices. Attentive staff and great bar. Don't miss the outdoor deck, covered so dine rain or shine. Dog friendly. Don't miss it if you are up here in the mountains.

Bbq platter was awesome. River sauce was great. Coleslaw was ok, mac salad was really good! Loved the atmosphere! Everyone was super nice!

We enjoyed the Magoo Burger and the fried green tomato BLT. Both were delicious, great service, great atmosphere and plenty of outdoor seating. There was a good selection of beers on tap including craft beers. We stopped here for lunch coming back from vacation. Would definitely stop again if we were in the area.

Brisket is tender enough to cut with a fork. Melts in your mouth. My dining partner got the loaded fries and the Margarita flight (raspberry, strawberry, peach and mango.) She liked her Loaded fries. Brisket was the star of the show. Little pricey but everything is now and the portions were big. Had a nice Big Timber Octoberfest....crisp. Great local craft beer selection on draft.

Pulled pork was tasty. Sauce is really good. Brisket was very bad from being sliced with the grain, to no bark, no smoke (and served with…horseradish?) And finally, the burnt ends were standard at best. Makes for a solid “3-star”. Honestly, I wish these guys the best but I want them to be better than this. Stick to the Texas rule here: Don’t eat seafood away from the coast and don’t expect good brisket anywhere but Texas.
