Skyduo Flight Academy

I was looking for a school that would make an intensive training viable in order to get my Private Pilot’s License in Fixed Wings. I found Skyduo and couldn’t be happier.
From beginning to end, I had a great experience. The owners are responsive, involved and dedicated to their business. The instructor I had the pleasure to train with (Kyle), is nice, professional, efficient and approachable. These are all qualities you need in a instructor due to the amount of time you’ll be spending with them. Skyduo Flight Academy has a very fair and competitive price for the flight hours. My training lastEd 7 and 1/2 weeks and the instructor and owners participated and overlooked every step of the way. I’m happy with not only the outcome (I passed my Checkride) but also my experience in choosing the right flight training school. I’ll certainly be back to do further training with them. Highly recommend!

As a PPL visiting from out of state I wanted to go up with someone local to get a sight of Miami from above. Couldn’t have picked a better place! Daniel (the owner) worked around my schedule and not great weather and set me up with Andrew CFI for an evening flight. It was a laid back yet super professional experience. We did an hour 1 flight along the shoreline and Andrew gave me good tips on Cessnas (I usually fly warriors). Highly recommend any pilots visiting Miami to check out the beaches from 1k feet with Skyduo.

CFI passed on the first take and now onward to CFII! Daniel and his team of experienced instructors have a seamless partnership with CFI Bootcamp and was able to guide me through their rigorous program with relative ease. I learned how to condense the mountain of material required for the CFI certificate into highly focused subjects areas which made it that much easier for me to digest and comprehend, but most importantly how to effectively relay it to new students who I’ll be teaching in the future. Truly transformed me into a brand new pilot at the end of it all. I highly recommend anyone who want to pursue CFI independently and not be anchored by an academy like program give Daniel a call at SkyDuo.

Clean and updated aircrafts, clean and spacious offices, knowledgable staff, open availability, affordable rates. Do I have to say more? SkyDuo Flight Academy has exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend it for any person interested in the freedom flying provides. Way to go SkyDuo!

I did my BFR with Skyduo and it was a great experience. After not flying for 5 years, I was ready to go in 3 hours of flight time with Kyle as my instructor. Everything was handled very professionally and was able to rent the aircraft for personal use afterwards. Their planes are well equipped and well maintained. Every time I flew the 172s were covered to. Great experience overall and would recommend.

Need a plane to fly some friends, build up time, or for a quick getaway to the Bahamas? SkyDuo is it! As a pilot who is building time for my CPL I can say that I have done all three! SkyDuo has great airplanes and even better people working behind the scenes to make sure your experience is top notch. I have flown their airplanes around Miami, on cross country flights to many airports from Key West to St Augustine. I have even flown across long stretches of water over to the Bahamas and I have zero complaints. All I can say is that this is the place to rent! 10/10 The owners and instructors are very understanding and most importantly, professional! They are ready and willing to work with you to get the best experience. All in all, a great flight school managed by an even better team!
