Pan Am Flight Academy

They cancelled my 777 type rating at the last minute after taking my money and knowing the sim isn't FAA certified and ready. Months of planning and effort to get TSA clearances and leave etc. down the drain. Asked for a refund and they try to deduct more money from my credit card. My cards are now blocked as a result. Its an endless struggle with them. The place seems poorly managed.

Ridiculous how they tried to double deduct from our creditcard. When they had no authorisation to do so. As a professional aviation academy with such a big name, this came as quite a shock for us.

They owe a refund on a 777 rating that has been a battle to get out of them. Even though we were told it would be actioned. Take your money elsewhere. We will now have to get a new bank card as we had to block our card due to them trying to double deduct

Excellent facilities and wonderful simulators. The instructors are very experienced and enthusiastic about their training responsibilities.

Same as others here, I wasn’t impressed by the lack of planning and professionalism by some of their “sales representative”. Please be extra careful before sending money, double check the sim actual availability and have a back up plan

Been there for the ATP-CTP. Had a excellent experience. The level of professionalism and courtesy of the company was very high from day one. Mrs Amparo was both my teacher and my instructor, along with Jose and Erik. Amparo made the classes both instructive and entertaining. I would strongly recommend PanAm for anyone's training and Amparo as the instructor. Side note: loved the historic photos on the walls.

Lots of different sims in a building with a very cool entrance. Nice airplane shop upstairs. Was a bit shocked that clients have to pay for coffee and even water! Never seen that at FSI, CAE, Boeing. Seems unnecessarily penny pinching to make people grab a $1.50 Nescafe from a vending machine in a depressing break room in a cool facility like that. Sims and briefing rooms are clean.
