Taylor County Sports Complex

Great place to jog scenic yet paved..clean bathrooms. ...two different play areas for kids....tennis soccer basketball baseball. We use about four times a week.

Exemplary. I made this long put/close approach shot, albeit after a few throws. Met the designers/promoters of this course today and was invited to play through with them on the front nine. This added to my appreciation for this lovely disc course that works its way along Woods Creek.

The sports complex here in Perry is super fun. You know how people say, "there's not enough fun stuff to do for my kids" so often? Well, a little more creativity and more places like the sports complex is the answer to that. Beautiful area to just enjoy walking or jogging around; Little stations littered throughout to help you work out if you really want to expand your idea of a gym; really fun little playgrounds for kids and a sweet basketball court that has lights up for playing even into the night. Super fun! And the kids have plenty of room to run around and be wild. And plenty of parking!

Beautiful park. We parked here to get away from Perry which smelled so bad. we woke up early in the morning and couldn’t believe how gross it smelled because of the paper mill. The park was quiet and beautiful, but the bathrooms by the tennis courts - the women’s restroom was open but the lights weren’t on 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great place to jog or walk because it has a nice trail, scenic but paved. I went to play basketball. Their bathrooms are pretty clean and my kids had two play areas to choose from. I like the tennis and soccer options too.

So glad that this is here and mostly maintained. The basketball area needs some attention especially the water fountains since both are not working right now. I hated I forgot my water that day lol. But besides that great place for a great walk too! Gets me out of my neighborhood and looking at something different
