Learning City Academy

Everyone at Learning City Academy is super helpful and super sweet. My daughter has been there since September and she looks forward to seeing her teachers everyday. Unlike some of the other preschools I had looked at in the area they truly care that your child is learning. The school is very clean and has helped get my daughter to try new foods. I couldn't have asked for a better school for my daughter.

My son has been attending the Margate campus about a year and a half now. Nothing but positive things to say. His teacher Ms Leachelle is amazing! I wish i could keep her forever! My son is sharing new things hes learned all the time. Ms Ronda the director has always been so nice and attentive if I have ever had any questions. Love this school!

My son (1 year old) has been attending this daycare for about 3 minths now and i couldn't be any happier. I am a detailed and very involved parent so you can say im picky lol but i promise i have had no complaints. The place always smells and looks super clean and very organized. Everyone is very friendly and professional. My son loves his teachers and so do I. They are very informative about how his day went and any tricks i can help him with at home. This is my sons 3rd daycare and will definitely be his last. If your looking for a great place this is it. I saw a previous review that scared me but i promise once you go for a tour you'll be happy you did.

Please Do NOT send your child here. They are very unprofessional and Do NOT care about your child. I picked my child up after them calling me stating she was not moving - once I got there she had a fever. The assistant Director stated the entire class have HFMD. After taking my child to the hospital she now has it too. My child got sick in their care. While I was explaining to the Assistant director (the black lady) she began to smile in my face as if it was funny. They did not waive the payment the week she got sick from their care. Not to mention they are always bringing up “CORPORATE” who does not do anything. Sammy needs to be fired. It shows they truly do not care about them children. HFMD is Very contagious and they have yet to shut the building down to do a deep clean. I highly do not recommend. This location needs new management.

If you love your child, DO NOT send them to this preschool. This location is all about collecting your money and do not invest in your child. There is lack of supervision, no foundational learning, potty training or consistency in staff members or adhering to their policy. Several families have left because of the disservice that was done to their children. There is no regard for parental input and you have to constantly fight for your child's well being. Leaving has been the best thing I could have done for my child.

My son started off in the infant room and transition into the toddler room. The teachers were amazing with his transition. The communication I had with the staff was amazing. I love getting notifications on my phone what he was eating and the little pictures are just a plus to my day. I highly recommend this location. I would recommend packing your kid a jacket I felt like the facility was cold, but overall the place is kept clean.

I am writing this review just to sing the praises of this center. I love this school. My son Lonnie has been going to this school since he was 7 months. He is now 2 years old! I notice how much the teachers and staff really cares, and loves for all of there children that goes here. They keep me informed as a busy mom and my husband as well. I would definitely rate this school a 9 out of 10 because since covid we aren't allowed to see our children in the classes and would definitely say a 10 out of 10 of we (the parents) had access to the cameras like other daycare locations. All in all I love this school if you had an option for him to go here till 12grade I would definitely sign him up for that.

I recently accepted a director position at this preschool so I could be closer to my children.
Both Of my children’s teachers informed me they were positive, (something only I would know from working there)
The owners of the school knew of multiple positive cases and failed to notify parents immediately.
When I asked the owner if there were protocols as a child care facility she immediately shut me down with the issue is teachers aren’t getting vaccinated.
Vaccination status aside.... I asked if there was a protocol. She informed me “yes and administrators are currently dealing with the situation”

If the school would have taken action immediately my child may not have gotten sick. Other children may have gotten sick.
Watching my daughter struggle to catch her breath after coughing is absolutely heart breaking.

Me asking a simple question regarding protocols has resulted in me being removed from the schools form of communication (what’s app chats)
When I asked the owner why I was removed I received no response.

My position was terminated for asking what protocols were.

As a parent, I would want to know if my child was exposed to covid. I feel like we have the right to know.

When picking a childcare center for your children, make sure to ask what their covid procedures are. You truly have no idea what goes on behind their doors.
