It's an amazing experience at IHM.

I would recommend your child to go this this school.

Favoritism is very active in this school - mostly in the Aftercare program and elementary. Emailing and scheduling an appointment with principal and the owner [hopefully] about this school to discuss the wrongdoings of another child, slander and emotional distress, physical bullying, upon other things. I won't be surprised if the bully child does not get punished at all. I would just expect it. This school is a joke.

Girls are mostly favored here. If a younger child accuses an older child of ANYTHING AT ALL, the older child will be punished, no questions asked. Shoot First, questions later. Basically if you are pulled over, shot, and you are found to be innocent - but wait; you're already dead! Also, the bully defame's your name and other things. You are punished, no questions asked. Punished. Don't even think about explaining.

I will write a different review if my child, and the [7] other children that have been bullied over the months get justice. Don't expect a different review.

It’s been 30 years almost since I was there. I think I was in 4th or 5th grade in 1988. Anyway, it was the school I went to when Brevard Public Schools failed me. I learned to be more confident in myself while I was there, and those skills were of great use a couple of years later. Transitioning back to a public school wasn’t too hard, though I did miss pizza day after I left, and not being tied to a desk. Anyone remember? We would order it by the slice on Wednesdays? I credit the curriculum and interpersonal skills I left with for helping me move on. Fond memories.

they had a LAWYER working as a preschool teacher for ages 18 to 20. she had no curriculum and was so heartless that she ran them in the hot sun for 30 minutes. i walked in one day and realized that explains why my son was always dehydrated and exhasuted by noon! beacuse she just ran them tired and then she had the guts to say she doesnt have the time for all of the kids in there. so she just wastes their energy and time. really? and school likes this lady? she quit when she had found a job as a lawyer. sad

I am so happy with this school, its caring teachers and Montessori approach in general. My son goes here since he was a toddler.

This is not a Montessori school. While they may have the rooms equipped to look like a Montessori school, they are just a regular school that just uses the Montessori name. Unfortunately Montessori is not copy-righted so any school can use the name whether they follow the Montessori method or not.
