A very nice park with many useful parts
This is a 27-acre park with a recreation center, outdoor pool & 2 playgrounds, plus a lakeside trail. It is located to the south and west of the South Patrick Drive and Yacht Club Blvd intersection. It is a large open park with vehicular parking in 3 lots that can be found off the Yacht club blvd entrance. The trails are all flat and circle the park, lake and structures. It is dog friendly and there are often people walking and running with their furry friends. The playground is one of the nicer ones that I have seen in the area. There is a workout area located across from the playground. There are many gopher tortoises that call the park home so please be careful of where you are walking so that we can protect them. The lake has a large fountain and a dock that extends out over the water. I have observed art shows, wedding pictures and other events. The building adjacent to the pool in the center of the park is the recreation center and offers a variety of programs. Overall, it is a very nice location for hosting larger events for a lot of people.

Great little park with something for everyone including paths, workout circuits, and playgrounds. There are tons of turtles and fishes to watch in the pond, and gopher tortoises crawling throughout the grounds, but please don’t touch or disturb. Jun 2022

Beautiful clean park. Nice sidewalk trails through the whole thing. A lot for the kids to play on. Had a great time and will be back.

A peaceful & beautiful park. I wish people would follow the rules. The signs clearly said no fishing & there were two kids fishing. Trashy people spitting in the water which is full of fish & turtles. I wonder how they’d feel if someone spit in their home. I hope the locals police the park and keep it a beautiful, clean and safe place to visit.

One of my favorite places to take a walk or walk the dogs. There is a place for children to play and awesome turtles to look at. Squires to feed as well. It's peaceful and there's a great well kept pond in the middle. A lot of shade so it doesn't get too hot. Plenty of parking as well.

I came here the other night and I'm so happy that I found this place! It's actually the prettiest park that I've been to around here. Besides how gorgeous it is, it also has several different areas that you can work out at, two playground areas, a pool, and wildlife roams around freely. The turtles are always nice to see. It's such a peaceful pretty little park. It's very clean and well kept. I will definitely be visiting more. And for those of you who play Pokemon Go, it's a hot spot for stops, gyms, raids, and team rocket. I got some super pretty pictures when I was there. There are plenty of benches to sit and get a peaceful little moment while enjoying the sunset.
