Hotel is a bit old but clean. The staff was friendly. Pool bar made good drinks but outdoor seating was limited. Pool is on the small size and doesn’t get a lot of sun late in day. Beach is great! Hotel has chair and umbrella rentals. The food is surprisingly good and room service was fast. Signature chocolate chip cookies are not as chunky as they used to be but still a nice treat.

Great view, comfortable bed and pillows. Had to wait for our room (it hadn't been cleaned). Stains on the carpet. Had an end unit, and at the end of the walkway to our room, there was food on the concrete floor which attracted the pigeons! It stayed there for the entire five days we were there, while the pigeons picked at what they wanted. One member of the staff insisted on squeezing in the elevator several times with his cart that carried the dirty room towels and at one point, expected us to squeeze between his cart and the elevator door to get out. A/C didn't cool properly and the safe to our room had not been reset in order for us to use. VERY small and outdated pool, but a perfect view of the ocean. Upon our leave, two staff members actually smiled at us, said "hello" and wished us a great and safe day. BRYON at the check-in counter is FANTASTIC. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant because we had several other great choices elsewhere.

Very nice rooms. The view was fantastic with the ocean in clear sight and the waves you can softly hear in the background. The room it's self was incredibly clean. The pool is large and heated and there is a walkway right to the beach where in the morning they rake the seaweed and set up umbrellas and beach chairs. We also took a night walk and explored the beach. Great stay. Only thing is the GPs sometimes takes you down the road so if using Google maps try the directions from the name not the address.

Great beach location, but you have to rent chairs etc or bring your own if you want to be on the sand. If you want a beach view, get a room above first floor. Area around the pool is really nice, including the "Sea Apes" bar. (Supposed to "Sea Grapes" but letters fell off. 😄) Room was nicely remodeled. A significant problem was the A/C made a loud CLUNK every it turned on. I had to turn it off to sleep. Luckily it was Fall and not too hot.

I would give this hotel 4.5 stars if I could. The only thing keeping it from a five star is it's age. They appear to working on that at this point. Despite it's age it was impeccably clean. Comfortable room with a perfect layout. The two room layout includes a living room on the street side, bath in the middle and oceanfront bedroom with balcony. Very nice pool deck with bar and food and a beautiful beach. Plenty of parking available.

However, what makes this hotel so great are it's people. The staff here is the most friendly, efficient and professional I have run across in decades. The young man on the front desk was welcoming and did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable.

If you will be staying in this area, give this hotel serious consideration.

This hotel was a bit of a ripoff. It looks a lot nicer on the website than it actually does in person. The pool is mostly shaded and there are bushes blocking the view to the beach. It is on the beach however if you want to lay on the beach you also have to pay for lounge chairs otherwise lay on your towel for free. The outside of the hotel is pretty worn down and does not look appealing at all. I will say the staff was very friendly and nice and polite and helpful which is always a great plus.

If you are looking for an affordable, beach-side hotel then this hotel is for you. The rooms feel like bungalows, and have beach views. The food and drink served are themed from the ocean and give you a tropics feel. It is a dated hotel, in need of updates. There is some new construction happening to add rooms. If you are a Hilton Honors member you will receive your standard upgrades, points, etc... We would return.

It looks a lot nicer on the website than in person. The beds are queen and they dress it up with a padded mattress covers to diminish the coils. You can still feel it. The rooms no longer have a bible in the night stand drawer. And there’s no note pad or pen included. The housekeeping people are very nice. The view was amazing. However, it was hard to enjoy at times because guest were smoking on the balcony. Although we stayed at the north side because half of south towers were under construction
you can still hear and feel vibration in the rooms. We did not use the pool but from what we saw it looked clean. The gym has a peloton bike available. If you plan on going into the beach be aware that your feet will get full of tar. They do provide dawn dish soap with some wipes for you to remove. However, there is not sign up making you aware of such.
if you want to lay on the beach - there’s a fee - for lounge chairs or lay on your towel for free. The outside of the hotel is worn. The staff were very nice. However, if you decide to do an early departure be aware to pay “early departure fee”. No exceptions!!!! They supposedly have an “48 cancellation policy”. If you decide eat in the hotel or call room service be aware of the charges; room service $3.50, extra bacon is $7.00 for two strips, tip which is like $15-20! They will put a $90 hold on your card and then after check out they will deduct the parking fee $12.50 a days out if that. Staying here can be pricey so choose wisely! I say the only thing I really enjoy was the view. There is a Publix and Starbucks within 3 minutes.
