A great place to go for a walk/bike ride. Every time I go I usually see people play frisbee golf. There’s a nice lake, lots of space and plenty of trees.

I didn't use to pay any attention to this park until I found myself with time in my hands due to COVID. Now, I have gotten to know it quite well, and I really appreciate it and , yes, love it. " Knowing is loving". I especially like a tree that is unbelievably beautil, as unbelievable is that there is only one of such beauty. I have been monitoring it's blossoming this spring. The buds are there, but I did find that this beautiful tree is at a present danger: it is uprooted. It is still alive and blossoming but if something is t done soon, it will die. This pink blossoms tree is in the parking lot in front of the Butterfly World main entrance. Two rows towards the park's entrance. Who do I talk to to save it?
I attached here some recent pictures, and about 12 from last year, in full blossom.

Nice little escape in the middle of the city. Tradewinds Park & Stables is a beautiful that has so much to do for all ages. it also house Butterfly World. You can spend the whole day there. I would definitely recommend. You can do horseback riding, Pony rides. see the horses. and every third Saturday and Sunday of the month, they have train ride for reasonable donation of $1.50.

First visit! We’ve spent a lot of time exploring South Florida over the past 25 years and it’s always fun to find a new place. They use the horses for therapy. It’s a beautiful park and a beautiful young lady who works with the Therapy program was amazing. Hoping when we move to Florida I’ll be able to volunteer my services there.

Four of us had the trail ride today at 3:00. It was one of the best I’ve ever done! The price is right and much lower than the ones in Davie. The horses are very gentle, beautiful, and well cared for! The trail ride lasts an hour and is very peaceful! All of the folks that work there are just awesome! It’s always about safety for the riders and the horses! I’d give 10 stars if I could!!!❤️

Nice activity for kids to ride a pony. 1 lap costs 3 dollars, or if you take 3 laps, you get additional lap as a bonus.
Staff is extremely helpful and polite.
Weather was quite hot, so be prepared for sweating.

Feeding animals was closed as we arrived in the afternoon.

Really great relaxing spot to spend some time with family. Beautiful park and great activities, including horse-back riding on a long trail, pony rides for kids (<52"), playground, picnic tables, and more. We got the group horseback riding tickets ($35/person) and it was a super peaceful, beautiful hour long ride through the trails. The horses are very well trained throughout. The pony rides for kids are only $3/ride and you can guide the horse yourself! Great service and conversation with all the staff, everyone was super nice and patient.

The north side of tradewinds park doesnt get enough praise as far as Im concerned. So many shady places to picnic as well as horseback riding and pony rides for the children on weekends. I really do wish the petting zoo were back open. Its been a while. Just to see the beautiful horses running in the open fields as you get closer to the barns os so amazing. And as always the staff is so nice.
