My wife and I wanted to try the chocolate cake and we had the opportunity to visit before our dinner reservations at a different restaurant and I'm glad we did. The chocolate cake was amazing and the service here was pretty good as well. But the cake was from the actual restaurant but they were able to make an exception for us.

Cool little lounge attachment to the Ale & Compass restaurant in the Yacht Club resort. Good drinks. Decent selection of brews. My experience with the service people was excellent! Enjoy.

Robin, our server was friendly and just plain awesome! Relaxed, comfortable hideaway in Yachtsman Boardwalk Resort. The lounge is painted dark navy with nautical decor. They have a full bar. Seating is comfortable and clean. The burger was cooked to our liking, crispy fries and the Buffalo cauliflower was fantastic. We enjoyed the seasonal apple crisp with vanilla ice cream, the apples were baked perfectly. We split our meal and left full and with leftovers (We are small people.) Price $$.

We were staying at Beach Club Resort and my husband and I were looking to go grab a quick drink somewhere when I found the Ale and Compass Lounge next door at the Yacht Club. We popped in with the intention to have a drink or two and decided to order some food, as well. I’m so glad we did! We got the Parker House rolls with three different spreads (my favorite was the bacon jam!) and we shared the Chipotle Barbecue Chicken Flatbread. We had excellent service even though the servers and bartender are pulling double duty to serve the lounge patrons as well as the actual restaurant. We would definitely go back (especially for that bacon jam!)

Beware when the server asks if you want rolls with your dinner they are an appetizer and you will be charged for them!

The food was delicious, but our server was not the best.

The steak was prepared as requested and since we don't like truffle fries, we were able to get regular fries. We saw more of the server at the table next to us then we did of ours. With all of the unemployed servers in the area I would think that there should only be excellent service.

Dined here for the first time today. I love that they serve breakfast until 1:30pm. I ordered the salted caramel apple French toast with sausage. It was almost too sweet but very good! I didn't like that there were raisins in it and had to pick them out.
