Not the worse company to work for but also not the best. Make sure you ask many current and past drivers the real deal about Davis Express before deciding to get hired on. Might I also add the five star reviews are from there favorites with the company. Ask ask ask other drivers about the company.

Owner was very rude to myself upon leaving the company. I walked off the property and he came at me and told me I could not stand on the side of the road. I guess he thinks since he has money he can say whatever he wants. Quoted by Jimmy Davis himself "I'm not trying to be an ASS but you can't stand on the side of the road. " Who wants to work for someone like this? They are not military friendly and will give you a hard time when you have to serve your country. WHAT A SHAME!

This company was the worst company I have ever worked for. They will micromanage every part of your day. They will tell you when to and where to stop and eat. They don't want you to park at a truck stop. Instead they want you to park at one of their terminals. The shower's are all nasty inside. Make sure you have a pair of flip flops to put on your feet in the shower's. And God forbid you stop and try to get a good meal at a truck stop. When looking for a driving job. Just say no.

I absolutely love working here !!! Friendly atmosphere and family oriented they treat you like a person and not a number. They care about your experience and take your concerns seriously. The home time is very consistent and so is the mileage and pay i truly feel valued here I found my trucking home ! 😊 great equipment and maintenance as well they take care of their equipment like they take care of their drivers !

It was pretty good. The restrooms could use a little extra cleaning

They have a really good training procedure, everyone has been very friendly, helpful and patient. I plan on sticking around as long as they'll have me, it's close to home and like my family time. I know I'm new and have to work hard and show I'm appreciation for the opportunity, would recommend to anyone. And don't listen to someone's bad review of a company or person make your own.

Working here at Davis Express has been a great experience from the start. I have been here a little over two years and it just keeps getting better. This company treats their drivers very well. You can't go wrong working here.
