Unfortunately we did not realize it till after closing hours.
When we called back the next day the girl Bria told me that nobody that worked the day before was there so she had no clue and was probably in the dumpster and I would need to come look in the dumpster.
Worst attitude ever.
So I get here and it's damaged and in the dumpster. I did have two very polite gentlemen help me when I arrived I wish I'd gotten their names so I could mention them directly.
Poor customer service I do understand that probably a lot of people leave garbage in their vehicles but that's why people clean them. Also a phone call would have been great customer service.
We have used this exact location for many years and have spent quite a bit of money at this location it stinks that what employee can kill a customer s support.
After trying a few places who were out of propane I called this Uhaul to ask if they have propane. They immediately placed me on hold and I drove over from Coral Springs. Was on hold for about 20 minutes and I arrived there before they would pick up. I go into the store and one of the workers at the counter is eating his lunch. He had to put away his lunch so that I can ask if I pay for propane inside, he said go outside first then come inside to pay.
I go outside to the propane refill area and only one man was ahead go me getting his tank filled. The Uhaul worker told me that he's going to STOP filling after helping this man because it is about to rain. There were clouds in the area but it did not even begin to rain until 30 minutes after. They could've have shown some empathy when I told him that I went to several places before them and drove 20 minutes and they couldn't even tell me that over the phone just place me on hold. I've been there several times and aware of their policy and even stood out there in the rain with an umbrella to get my propane tank refilled in the past.
He was unwilling to budge before one drop of rain fell. Terrible customer service all around!
A staff was helping another customer and another staff which might be the manager sitting by his desk was busy in a call (probably business related).
I asked another staff if he was available and he said no, he was busy on his phone.
Even the propane delivery driver pointed out that there were customers outside after he turned in his paperwork.
The staff on the desk said; something along the lines of, “There is a buzzer outside if they need service.”
To which I replied (he didn’t know I was one of the customers waiting for propane) “I buzzed it three times and no one came out. “
He said” maybe someone disconnected it”.
But it wasn’t because I saw the blinker go off when I pushed it down. It could be malfunctioning.
Afterwards, the staff member who was busy with his phone came out and took care of us, the same one who said wasn’t available.
Service is okay but there is definitely room for improvement.
They were supposed to call us to approve any work on our vehicle. Well Miss Maranda decided to have the mechanics make the repair without our approval. We were hit with a $200 tab. Wrong and bad business.
We had them call Maranda and she said we had to pay. My husband told them he would pay for the part but not the labor because none were approved.
They wound up taking the part off after much discussion.
They may be good at what they do, I don’t know, but that is shoddy business practice in my book. Worst place to do business because the leader doesn’t listen. That sort of means the employees don’t listen either. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are lots of U Hauls around. This woman should not be in management. She can’t follow instruction so I am sure she doesn’t give good instruction as evidenced by my experience. Runaway from this place. They will try to rip you off. I could have bought a whole new towing bar complete with lights for $250. So $200 for a part that took 10 minutes to cut wires and attach them to new part is ridiculous. Rip off joint! No stars but that is not an option.
