I love my local library !!! The staff that I do have the pleasure of dealing with on my visits there are just that, a pleasure ! I appreciate them and their service to making sure that my experience is a great one. Thank you all for helping me to contuine my love for the Amish stories that I so love to get lost in.

I have been a lot of city libraries and this on was like a one room shambleshack, old useless books lined the shelves, about 6 out of date (late 1990s) computers for online use, but the staff was helpful and courteous. They do have a genealogy section, very limited though.

Went to library to get a card. I provided my Fl drivers license with picture and my address. Was told needed 2nd ID with my address on it but did not need
a photo. Example, a bill, a voters registration document, blank check with my address etc.....
What was not allowed as proof was the following :

U.S. passport
U.S. AF. retired military ID
Retired U.S. State Dept. Id
And many others all with photo but not address.
Jimbro was right. Calling out the petty small minded individual who is supposed to promote the library and work for the public

You can rent movies. There is two different computer areas and a printer to use.

This is a small but well organized library. Workers are helpful. The children's area is a good size and they have a nice selection of new books. Across from the library is a bike/walking trail that is beautiful. There is also a children's park next to the library with picnic tables and a lot of shade.

You are a library not a daggum bank! Why would I need 2 forms of ID for a card?
The woman behind the desk has let a little power go to her head. It's a PUBLIC library, not your personal concentration camp. What an a-hole.

Wonderful library! The front desk guys were so friendly and helpful. The process for a new card was easy and I enjoyed the selection they have at the library.
