Kilmer Branch St Lucie County Library

I love this library. Great staff, next to the water. I love to get a book, a cup of coffee from Dunkin, and heading down to the marina to read.

This is the best library around. Inviting space, excellent views, helpful librarians.
The only issue is how limited the breadth of materials available to borrow is at any Saint Lucie County Library. Here's hoping the County will invest more in the library system.

I think this may be by far the worst library I've ever visited and the staff alone are what's killing this library's reputation. I'm a new resident of Florida and I've only ever gone there twice, unfortunately, I can say that I will never go there again. The very first time I've gone there, I was confronted by a staff member who says I'm not allowed to lock the door, which would be understandable if there wasn't a lock on the inside of the door. Don't put a lock on the inside if you don't want people to use it. then, about 2 days ago, I went back to the library, the environment was peaceful and quiet, I unintentionally, uncontrollably, dozed off for about 2 minutes or less before a staff member bang on the head of the chair and specifically said "You have to wake up! No sleeping!" In the loudest, and most embarrassing way possible. Quite frankly, I don't understand how patrons are allowed to have snacks and beverages inside of the library, but you're not allowed to sleep there...? I think the staff members should lose the attitude or the next thing they'll read will be a job application.

Love this location just wish they had study rooms

This is my first time visiting the fort pierce library, and the staff is real friendly, and they had a designated reading area where you could see over the sea while you read your favorite book! It was truly a very nice and relaxing place. I would highly recommend it for anybody who wants to read their favorite book that’s looking for a quiet place to get some reading done. This was one of the nicest libraries I’ve seen in a long time.

I love this library. It has quite a selection of DVDs to check out, plenty of books and the old Florida books are amazing. So far all the people that I have met that work there are awesome . friendly and very helpful 😁 they also have an amazing kids section. I always feel very relaxed and get into a different world when I go in here. I visit at least once a week ❣️

The librarians are super friendly. Normally we will be at the kids zone. They have a tons of kids books also busy boards for your little ones. Story time is fun

I have enjoyed using this library over the past 2 1/2 years. The online system to request books is user friendly and convenient. Everytime I go in the staff are warm, welcoming and helpful! It is also located on the water front and has a beautiful view of the marina.
