i am SO excited we got a new library. in this age of technology a lot of people have unfortunately gotten sucked into the world of screens and lost the magic of a good book. it’s a beautiful facility with kind and wonderful staff! get a library card and encourage others as well to support our public library system 🥰

Staff is cordial and friendly, but this has got to be the loudest library I have ever been to. Christ. I get there's a children's area and they can play around but this is a LIBRARY, not happy hour at your local bar or a children's daycare. Besides the atrocious noise level at times, the library is clean and the study rooms are spacious.

This place opened on February 11, 2021. The old location was at 11300 NW 87 Ct. I went to the new location on March 28, 2022 and I took some pictures. Please check them out. They're plenty of places where you can charge your phone and laptop. They're also eight computers to use in the adult area. The children's department also has eight computers.
There's a vending machine in the cafe room where you can buy snacks and eat in that room. There's a few study rooms if you want privacy. They have thought of everything you can think of that will make your requests available.

There are a lot of kids around, seems like a daycare sometimes. They scream and make lots of noise which makes it hard to concentrate. This is the only problem with this library, when there are no kids it’s a great spot to study/get things done.

Been going to the old library since twenty years. The new construction looks impressive & beautiful with many places to sit including booths with monitors, however, it’s still just as noisy as it was at the old place during after school hours. So, now the Hialeah Gardens library isn’t a daycare like the old place was, but you can still hear the kids screaming & playing from across the hall. You would think that they would have foreseen this & built some kind of a room where the kids can scream & play… But no. There is no silence in this library after school hours. It’s just adults chatting loudly with kids screaming & playing.

I love coming to this location of the Miami Dade County Libraries. I would like to recognize the staff and especially Teresita Lopez Diego. June is Pride Month for the LGBT community and they made a beautiful display at the entrance. For me it is something special. Thank you very much for recognize our community

I have had a wonderful experience visiting this Library. The staff and the collection are excellent. The programs held every week are exceptional. I look forward to visiting again next week for the CineClub.
