Miami Lakes Branch Library

Awesome library although patrons can get very loud, especially in the children's area. The staff does their best to accommodate each patron while adhering to policy. My favorite thing is the weekly meditation program that is held M-F at 11am. All other programs are great as well!

I came to my local library in order to do homework and read textbooks in silence. This library branch is definetly not the place for a quiet study session. There are numerous children being extremley loud, and maintenence being performed outside to the point where you can hear lawn mowers and leaf blowers from the inside. The staff is very rude, don't have consideration for others in the library trying to concentrate. They seem to always talk very loud and basically throw books back onto their shelf, let alone bad mouth customers after they have hung up with their phone call. Dissapointed and sad at the way the public library's have deteriated.

Nice, friendly and quiet library.

This is a small branch and I was helped diligently with what I needed. They currently have in person activities for children and teens.

Use to come here back in 2009 for tutoring and also got some Pokémon DVD 📀 they also had black people working here.

First time coming to this library. The place is spotless and clean and has a good variety of computers and books to use, as well as tables for studying. Due to covid, there are many limitations as far as seating arrangements go. Don't plan on enjoying peace and quiet, as people come and go talking loudly over the phone and to each other and are not confronted about the noise by the staff. Definitely bring headphones if you want to work in peace. Besides the loud inconvenience, library is nice!

I have lived in 4 states and been to dozens of libraries. This is the loudest one by a mile. Make sure to bring headphones if you want to get anything done. That said, the staff is polite and helpful and the place is spotless.
