These guys are really laid back and make you feel welcome and do an awesome job at cutting hair. Make sure you take cash. They don't do cards.

I have been in Lake Placid for 4 months and got 2 haircuts, my last one at another place was bad but the one I got here was worse! One side was longer than the other. I won't be returning! I was rushed out of the chair when a lady walked in with her child after another teen didn't want to wait.

Great place for a gentleman's haircut.will always be back. parking is limited but some people just don't know how to park between the lines.

I was hesitant to leave a review on Mike's. When you find a good barber shop the last thing you want is for it to be deluged in customers the next time you go. But Mike's is my go to for a haircut and deserves the five stars. Mike's has three chairs and generally at least two of them are going. They knock out a good haircut quickly, so waits are not long. Prices for a haircut are reasonable. I can't say if Mike's is the best option if you want some fancy style (though they may be great for those too) but for my basic high and tight, they are great.

Good place to get a haircut with reasonable price for a haircut and friendly barbers also the area is clean.
