Groveland Fire Department- Station 1 and Fire Admin

The deputy fire chief and police officer on duty around noon on September second need a training in dealing with people with mental health issues - Especially the deputy fire chief. The way he treated me while I was struggling was like he was instigating me. He knows how poorly he handled the situation.

Upon arrival, the police officer I spoke to was cold and like every other sad officer I meet who has nothing better to do than interrogate (- As if you need to do more of that in your line of work).

Anyone in authority: Please train these men to be more sensitive to people’s struggles. I’ve visited fire and police departments all across the nation and have never experienced such haste while I was in a time of need.

Absolutely disgusted with the way these departments handled my public safety, especially the deputy fire chief.

Sarah was a questionable character, as well; Very aggressive on the phone. Worst public safety department I’ve ever experienced in the nation. I wouldn’t trust their sensibilities. The definition of Florida white people - Super gross.

I needed help yesterday on Highway 27 when I thought that my car was going to blow up with all the smoke that was coming from under the hood.
These guys are the best!!!
They came to my rescue within minutes.
I cannot thank them enough!!!
They were courteous, professional and caring!!
