STAY AWAY!! Terrible Experience! We are a Charity that is working in Haiti with an orphanage helping to grow food off the grid. This company sold us a unit to run a 50 watt load that cost us $4500. We asked if we could get Lithium Ion batteries instead, they said yes. Turns out you need a BMS(battery management system) when working with Lithium Ions, something that I dont think Franklin knows much about. They helped us a little to troubleshoot a bad solar charger but always felt that we were being an inconvenience to them. Then I got the blow off. They were suppose to replace 3 batteries and a solar charger and then dodged me for 2 months. We have plane tickets and everything to go to Haiti in October 2017 and I cant get them to call back because he is too busy. Just ignores my text messages, emails, and phone calls. No replies. This unit has cost us a ton of money in shipping and traveling that we would not have had to spend if this unit was built correctly. At the very least you can help me get the parts I need. He tells me that the items are ordered but never tells me when they arrive. Then tells me he ordered them again. Lots of LIES, not backing up his product, and left us hanging never replacing anything he said he would We were very patient giving the benefit of the doubt but it comes to a point to move on and take your loss...STAY AWAY!!!!

We are very happy with our back up generator. Franklin's service has been excellent. He is always available to answer questions and whenever we have an issue he stops by to check things out. Thank you, Franklin.

I had a battery backup system installed in my office by this company several years ago. They did an excellent job with both installation and subsequent maintenance. Franklin is very knowledgeable and he has been entirely responsive.

I am Franklin Freeman of the owner of this company I am very happy for the positive reviews posted by happy satisfied customers of which there are many . Now to address the two negative reviews let's start with Michael petite and his Haiti charity the office asked him for pictures of the supposed bad batteries he did not provide them.Instead he asked us to send him new batteries in advance without returning the old ones no business does this. As far as Shelly she never purchased the unit from us the unit was in
A residence she purchased it was damaged and had sat for months with no charge on batteries yet she wanted it fixed for free . I hope this addresses these two reviews .Again thank you for your positive reviews and continued support.

STAY AWAY! I REPEAT, STAY AWAY FROM THE CONMAN!!! I wish I could give a zero but one star is the lowest. Frank Freedman the owner/operator is a conman. He never follows through on appointments, then always set them but then has an excuse for why he didn't make or can't make. I have been going back and forth with they conman for over a year to get my solar panels and battery back installed which I have paid for over a year ago. He always tries to blame it on building department and permit issues. After multiple attempt to get him to start and finish have been left with no other resort but to seek out someone to litigate or sue myself and get someone more reputable to install my solar system.

If I could give this place and its owner, Franklin, a zero rating, I would. That is what they deserve! ZERO!
I paid $4,000 for them to install an indoor battery backup unit for the solar array on my roof, plus another $1800 for batteries. After installing it, it immediately did not work. After weeks of calling the office and setting up times for them to come fix it, the local power company got involved because Indoor Generator's electrician had somehow missed up the wiring so badly that it was causing issues that caught the attention of Lakeland Electric. The calls and pleas for them to come fix it went on for months. Sometimes I would simply get no reply, no answer, or a scheduled work man who just didn't show up at the scheduled date. Occasionally a workman would actually show up, only to say that he wasn't able to fix it that day, or that it even was fixed. He would leave, and it was not fixed. Eventually one of the workmen determined that the unit which they gave me was defective. Then, the same sequence of calls, no replies, no-show workman, and untold excuses happened all over again. This was dragging on for over a year. In the meantime, I am not producing any electricity from the solar array on my roof, because they have messed up the wiring so badly. Finally, after several months of intervention from the technician at Lakeland Electric along with another solar electrician who I hired, they got the wiring fixed such that I could at least produce and utilize the electricity from my solar array. We gave up on utilizing the still defective battery backup unit, and just left it non-functional in the garage. Then, I needed to have my roof replaced, and had the solar array removed and put back on. For an unknown reason, the company I hired to remove and replace the solar units could not get the power back on. So they opened the additional breaker boxes and wiring that had been installed by indoor generators when they installed the battery backup unit. The problem was that Indoor Generators had so mucked up the wiring, installing illegal bypasses, unsafe connections, and faulty tampering with the interior of my original inverter which voided my warranty on that. So if this does not scare you off, you and Franklin deserve each other. I have NEVER had such a bad experience with a business before! And I am not just a novice on Google maps reviews. Check my review history, and trust me that you DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Silent Standby was recommended by a person who used the company to install a battery powered backup in case of a blackout four years ago.
He had high regard for the company as I do.
I was very impressed with a number of things the owner Franklin Freedman suggested and implemented.
An installation date was set and the workers were on time and knew their responsibilities. They were caring ,respectful, courteous and exceptionally clean.
The work was completed in two days. The system was tested and worked as designed. I have no hesitation in giving Silent Standby a five star rating.
