A residence she purchased it was damaged and had sat for months with no charge on batteries yet she wanted it fixed for free . I hope this addresses these two reviews .Again thank you for your positive reviews and continued support.
I paid $4,000 for them to install an indoor battery backup unit for the solar array on my roof, plus another $1800 for batteries. After installing it, it immediately did not work. After weeks of calling the office and setting up times for them to come fix it, the local power company got involved because Indoor Generator's electrician had somehow missed up the wiring so badly that it was causing issues that caught the attention of Lakeland Electric. The calls and pleas for them to come fix it went on for months. Sometimes I would simply get no reply, no answer, or a scheduled work man who just didn't show up at the scheduled date. Occasionally a workman would actually show up, only to say that he wasn't able to fix it that day, or that it even was fixed. He would leave, and it was not fixed. Eventually one of the workmen determined that the unit which they gave me was defective. Then, the same sequence of calls, no replies, no-show workman, and untold excuses happened all over again. This was dragging on for over a year. In the meantime, I am not producing any electricity from the solar array on my roof, because they have messed up the wiring so badly. Finally, after several months of intervention from the technician at Lakeland Electric along with another solar electrician who I hired, they got the wiring fixed such that I could at least produce and utilize the electricity from my solar array. We gave up on utilizing the still defective battery backup unit, and just left it non-functional in the garage. Then, I needed to have my roof replaced, and had the solar array removed and put back on. For an unknown reason, the company I hired to remove and replace the solar units could not get the power back on. So they opened the additional breaker boxes and wiring that had been installed by indoor generators when they installed the battery backup unit. The problem was that Indoor Generators had so mucked up the wiring, installing illegal bypasses, unsafe connections, and faulty tampering with the interior of my original inverter which voided my warranty on that. So if this does not scare you off, you and Franklin deserve each other. I have NEVER had such a bad experience with a business before! And I am not just a novice on Google maps reviews. Check my review history, and trust me that you DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
He had high regard for the company as I do.
I was very impressed with a number of things the owner Franklin Freedman suggested and implemented.
An installation date was set and the workers were on time and knew their responsibilities. They were caring ,respectful, courteous and exceptionally clean.
The work was completed in two days. The system was tested and worked as designed. I have no hesitation in giving Silent Standby a five star rating.
