This is a great place to stay as part of Disney so you get extra things such as, free park transfer, free parking at the park's if going via car and early park entry before other guests. The rooms are large and comfortable. All staff are professional and will go out of the way to ensure you have a good time.
To stay at Disney is not the cheapest but if you are only planing on doing the holiday/vacation once, let it be the best one.

Stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom suite. All the rooms were surprisingly large. Kitchen was well stocked (silverware, mixing bowls, freezer had an icemaker, iron and ironing board, hair dryers in each bathroom) The only negative seemed to be the appliances...the oven took 25 minutes to heat up to 400°, washing machine's full cycles were very long. The main pool area is very nice. A "To go" food area was standard Disney fare. Olivia's was great for breakfast. And over all a very pleasant experience

The rooms are spacious! We had a two bedroom that had a king in one room and two queens in the other! No one was on top of each other we watch golfers playing from the balcony
Also, I can not remember the name of the restaurant but I remember Paul was our server and the food was OUTSTANDING! IMO much better than the French restaurant at Epcot! Its within the common area! Near check-in and across from the store!

My family has been returning here since the beginning, and when they say "welcome home" it is simply the truth. The units have been maintained and renovated over time, and one thing that changed we don't like is how the bathroom in a one-bed unit is only accessible through the main bedroom; if you are with a larger group (sleeps up to 5), then you have to go into the private bedroom to use the toilet. They used to have a separate door. If you visit here, learn the bus routes for your unit first. Sometimes if you miss the bus in one location you can catch it at another location before it leaves the resort. Also, don't forget to hang around the pool and enjoy some of the resort programming. Sure, Disney has the parks, but there is so much to do in the DVC resorts like this one that you don't really need to hit the attractions. Or, just stay an extra week for some real relaxation!

Old key West is my favorite Disney resort. When you're there it is almost as if you were in the actual keys. The laid back vibe away from the hustle and bustle of being really close to World Disney. It is amazing. Today, we are at the quick service next to Olivia's. We met a cast member named Carmel, she was absolutely amazing, really pleasant to deal with. She came over and talked to my kids and asked how their meal was. She was great. So thank you Carmel.

Disney's Old Key West was wonderful for my family of 7. Plenty of bed space in our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Villa. Living / kitchen are was perfect space to begin and end each day. Laundry facility in our room was wonderful. There was a tiny downfall with the use of the My Disney app and Genie. Not as user friendly as Disney would like them to be but we solved that issue with My Card Around The World.
We will be back.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa which had a, big balcony, kitchenette and laundry room. This is the first Disney resort ever built so the rooms are a bit older and you can tell but they are updated and modernized and really clean. Our stay was extremely pleasant and we had a great time. The resort is located very close to the parks and we were able to get into the parks within 10 minutes of leaving the resort each day. The pool was really nice and a great way to relax after a long day of walking around the parks. The food was great and the staff wand the staff was super nice.

The resort was nice. It's more like an apartment complex than a hotel. The rooms were clean, staff excellent!
We tried to have food delivered to our room but were told by resort staff that couldn't be done (had to pick up at check-in office) which was a 10-15 minute walk. However we saw numerous delivery vehicles on resort.
Bus service to the parks was exceptional!
Not many tv channel options to relax to after a long day at the park. Would've liked the ability to stream from phone to tv.
I have no problem staying here again.
