The SpeakEasy Marco Island

I couldn’t decide between 2 stars or 3. We chose this place as our last night fun before heading back to Chicago bc it’s supposed to be Chicago owned. Food was mediocre at best. Salad and soup came out with meals instead of before. French onion had no flavor, mahi piece with sandwich was about 2 ounces. Sweet potato fries were cold. Drinks were fantastic and our waitress/bartender was fabulous. She deserves a raise for the tables she had to cover as well as bartending. Karaoke was fun except they never got to my song on our last night here. This was our plan before we even came down from Chicago so this was super disappointing. Don’t allow people to sing 5 times until you’ve allowed all to sing. That’s basic common sense as a DJ/performer.

Didn’t have a reservation and for us that was no problem! Food was awesome! Huge menu, lots to choose from for all. I had the Chicago Deep Dish pizza and WOW! Was very good! Absolutely will be coming back and I have already recommended a few friends to this place! Parking wasn’t an issue, easy to find right as you enter Marco Island! Service was awesome and speedy!

We had a lovely meal at the outdoor bar. Austin was amazing. We were unfortunately seated by an obnoxious, drunk woman who made our experience less than perfect. Austin handled this woman with ease and grace. He was pleasant and personable and should be commended for his ability to deal with the varying people he was dealing with. Food was great, drinks were on point. We will definitely visit again.

Was recommended to this place by a local on Marco island. It has a laid back atmosphere with excellent food. Had the duo lobster tails that they serve on Wed - the veggies were overcooked and bland, but the tails were amazing! The Reuben came with large hunks of corned beef, which we didn't expect but it was super tasty! Great drinks as well!

Went for apps and drinks. Nice local bar on the water. Most tables are outside. Good pretzels and garlic knots. Great happy hour prices. Well drinks are better than the mixed Palmer drink. Nice place to visit! Call for reservations

Very nice lunch and perhaps the best Reuben sandwich I have ever eaten. Good food and drinks selection (though only Pepsi, no Coke). Sat on the outdoor patio which has generous sized umbrellas. Service was fine too.

The place is easy to miss, it's tucked away in the corner of the plaza. The food is pretty tasty, specialty drinks are good, lots of options for seating: breezeway, bar or patio. Service was fast and friendly.

So this was my first time here. And the view is nice. The flatbread we got was pretty good..I was happy with that. They weren't too busy so we had a nice time with our waitress.

However. The glass my friend got for her drink had lipstick on it. That is a big turn off for me. She sadly didn't say anything about it. However having been a waitress, it should have been spotted.

Good views. Our food was great. Nice waitress.
