The location is at the east end of Disney Springs complex so you can either parking in one of the many-story garages or choose surface parking. We chose surface parking as it is very close to the building and fairly easy access. The entrance to the venue is on the second floor of the complex and only has one small elevator so if you need this special access plan ahead. They have a concession stand where you can get drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and food items like popcorn and pretzel that you can take to your seats. The venue is a round theater with seating around ½ the stage. The best seats are probably in the center above the entrance as many of the visuals are on the back of the stage and some are displayed on the stage floor. The story starts with a pre-show of a pillow on stage engaging with the crowd. We were informed that pictures could be taken until the show starts. The show describes a daughter of an artist coming of age and trying to follow in her parents' footsteps and the challenges that ensue. The artists and the visuals were very good. I truly enjoyed the unicyclists, the 1st set of gymnasts, and the artist performing on the pencil. The seats are theater seating so get comfortable with your neighbor. Overall, it was a very nice show with some amazing performers.
The story for Drawn to Life was cute and interesting, and although it did have some heartfelt moments, I was not entirely impressed with the story line.
I understand they are trying to add more "Disney magic" into the shows and it is a nice idea, but I think what made Cirque du Soleil special was that you came for the show and the performance and it didn't necessarily have to reflect Disney.
But I can understand the change. Don't get me wrong, it was still a beautifully choreographed show, but the story and the performances were a bit lackluster.
The best performers were the acrobatic girls, the blue fairies on wheels, and the evil character of the show was very funny. But wasn't entirely impressed with the juggler, the man on stilts, or even the duo on the bicycle wheel in the air.
But it was still nice to see, and I assume a simpler story that families and children can understand is part of the enjoyment.
New characters and old were a nice touch added though.
It's definitely a 1-time show to see when in Disney Springs for sure.
